AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

LOVE RIGHTEOUSNESS – HATE INIQUITY
Greetings dear saints and welcome back to this enlightening Bible Study of the Book of John. If you will receive it, prove it, believe it, and implement it, you will come higher in the Kingdom and be more and more like Jesus in function. The Father sees us the same as He sees Jesus but unfortunately the world does not see most of us in this way. Some talk the Word of God but their lives reflect an all together different playbook. Let’s ditch the traditions of men and the doctrines of demons and feast upon the pure Word of God. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible to extend the reach of these Truths. Here at Eastern Gate Ministries International, in our home, and with our friends we have been talking a lot lately about removing the trees planted within us which are not a planting of the Lord. Trees develop from a seed; all words are seeds whether they be in the form of thoughts or spoken/heard. From the time of our conception in the womb seeds have been sown into us, most corruptible (not the Word of God) and hopefully a few that were incorruptible (Word of God). Consider the following two verses.
Matthew 15:13 (KJV)
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
For the Christian, that which the Heavenly Father did not plant will be rooted up either here or there (Heaven). Of course, it would be best to root those things (ideas, words, beliefs) up now allowing us to walk more like the Christ. They will be rooted out when we leave this body and before fully entering Heaven, for these things cannot enter Heaven. Just how do we root these false ideas, beliefs out? First, we have to be open to identifying them. Then just as Jesus spoke to (cursed) the unproductive (for the Kingdom) fig tree so we speak in faith moving these plantings, the mountain, into the sea with the following words from the Master Himself.
Mark 11:14 (KJV)
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. (bold added)
Once the unproductive planting or even counterproductive planting is removed there is a void. That void must be quickly filled with the Truth. There is no such thing as a vacuum in the natural or spiritual. Now, let’s turn our attention to the Book of John and our primary text. Please read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 20:17-18 (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
You will recall that Jesus has had a rough three days but none the less filled with joy and achieving overwhelming victory. It was a fixed fight but so has He fixed all of our fights in our favor by a country mile. He is now just emerged from the tomb and the first person to encounter the Resurrected Savior is Mary Magdalene out whom He had cast seven demons. This Resurrection is like but not identical to the one all Christians will experience at the Catching Away or Rapture. At our resurrection we will have an incorruptible body just like Jesus has at this moment and our soul (mind, will, and emotions) will be cleansed. However, this resurrection is of the second person of the Triune God and He is being fully restored with all the attributes of God which He laid down to enter the earth. With this in mind let’s once again turn our attention to the Book of Hebrews where we find at least some of the Words the Father spoke in the restoration of Jesus.
Hebrews 1:8-9 (KJV)
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
The first time Jesus (the Word) was a Son was in the womb of Mary and He was fully man. The second time Jesus is a Son is at the Resurrection and He is fully man and fully God. In verse eight above we see the Father declaring Him as God. The Father goes on to declare that He loved righteousness and hated iniquity. Do we?

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
