AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH
Sunday – February 21, 2021, Adar 9, 5781
THE GREATER THINGS – PART TWENTY-SIX
The year seems to be in high gear and racing by and the Glory of God surrounds us! We are seeing marvelous things but we have not seen anything yet in comparison to what lies before us just out of sight for now. Let’s get our expectations up and be looking to have a role in this last massive move of God through His people. If any of us do not see the Glory (goodness of God) in our own lives than we must inquire of the Lord with an open heart. At a minimum we are saved and headed to Heaven and not a devils Hell. Before moving forward take a moment to share this Bible teaching, these Truths, as widely as possible. Perhaps you are wondering about the picture at the top of these teachings. It is to depict the broken-down status of our society and unfortunately the Church as well. Let us give thanks and praise the Lord for we are empowered of God to rebuild what we have allowed the devil to tear down. Have we, the body of Christ, forgotten that the devils, all created beings (not other people) are under our feet?
Ephesians 1:19-23 (KJV)
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
When Christ was raised to the right hand of the Father so were, we in Him. We are “far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named” both good and bad praise the Lord! Now, let’s get used to this position God by the shed Blood of Jesus has freely given us and get the show on the road. We have been acting like worthless worms in the dirt when in reality, in Gods’ eyes, we are the possessors and rulers of the whole earth. There is a rising remnant who understand who they are in Christ Jesus and will exercise full dominion (authority) backed by the Blessing to bring Heaven to earth once again. By way of a reminder, I am teaching about not only the works Jesus did but the greater works both of which He commanded us to do.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Now, let’s move back to our Isaiah text and rejoice in our God, in who He has given us to be, and in our mission. In Christ Jesus our yoke is easy and our burden light. If it isn’t easy and light, it isn’t God, that simple. Get out of the flesh and back into the Spirit. The flesh or carnal mind (thinking) is death and to be spiritually minded (God thoughts) is life and peace. Have we gotten fed up with death in our lives yet? Do we recognize that the traditions of men, the doctrines of demons, and the deceptions of demons as the source of carnal thinking, talking, and the bringing forth of death in our lives?
Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
In verse two, Isaiah by the unction of the Holy Spirit writes and proclaims “the acceptable year of the LORD” and some 700 years later sitting in the Moses seat in the synagogue at Nazareth Jesus would read these words as His own. Dear brother and sister these are our Words to proclaim as well. This is the day of salvation. The next phrase we come to is “the day of vengeance of our God” which has to do with God, our God, bringing justice for His people. As I close let’s look at this verse in the New Living Translation for more insight.
Isaiah 61:2 (NLT)
2 He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the LORD’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.
It’s a new day dear ones, have no pity or restraint in dealing with the demonic powers and God will take care of the people standing in the way of the Kingdom.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
