THE THREE MINUTE WORD

PUT ME IN REMEMBRANCE
Greetings children of the most High God and welcome back to our study of the Book of Isaiah. If you are not a child of the most High God you are a child of darkness, of Satan. I realize that is a little blunt but the cost of staying in the devils’ kingdom is way too high, it is stealing, killing, and destroying now and Hell forever after this life. Change kingdoms today! Before moving on please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is of Donna and me at Church Resurrection Sunday. Now, let’s move to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 43:25-28 (AMP)
25 I, even I, am He Who blots out and cancels your transgressions, for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins.
26 Put Me in remembrance [remind Me of your merits]; let us plead and argue together. Set forth your case, that you may be justified (proved right).
27 Your first father [Jacob, in particular] sinned, and your teachers [the priests and the prophets—your mediators] transgressed against Me.
28 And so I will profane the chief ones of the sanctuary and will deliver Jacob to the curse (the ban, a solemn anathema or excommunication) and [will subject] Israel to reproaches and reviling.
The Lord is inviting us to remind Him that we are righteous. Does He forget? Of course not! I think He just likes to hear it. We like to hear our children claim us as their family and in right standing in the family. It is interesting that the Lord through His Prophet Isaiah names Jacob as the father of the Jewish people and not Abraham or Isaac. Jacob renamed Israel is the father of the twelve tribes of Israel. The Lord is talking to the twelve (thirteen) tribes of Israel in this discourse. You will remember that when Jacob blessed Josephs’ two children Ephraim and Manasseh, he made them sons and not grandsons.
Genesis 48:5 (KJV)
5 And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.
The Bible number thirteen represents depravity and rebellion. So, now there are thirteen (13) tribes (sons) of Israel (Jacob) a prophetic sign that depravity and rebellion are at the door. Sure enough, the first generation released from bondage by Pharaoh in Egypt did not enter the Promised land due to no faith, believed the evil report, rebelled against the Lord. The Lord references several peoples who sinned and this is not hard to find as you read down through the Old Testament including the very Book we are studying. What was Jacob’s sin?
Genesis 37:9-11 (KJV)
9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.
That word observed in verse eleven means to hedge about, guard, and protect. But did he when faced with contradictory evidence?
Genesis 37:31-35 (KJV)
31 And they took Joseph’s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood;
32 And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son’s coat or no.
33 And he knew it, and said, It is my son’s coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.
34 And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.
35 And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him.
Have we ever thought we had put Gods’ Word in our heart and then when faced with circumstances let it go? It is dangerous. The following are Jacobs own words about his life.
Genesis 47:9 (KJV)
9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it, absolutely nothing.

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Bold added)
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
PRAYERS AND QUESTIONS – please contact us and we will respond. Our goal is to build a solid foundation upon which children of God can become sons of God, stand and do exploits in Jesus’ name.
PARTNERSHIP AND GIVING – Those of you who are not Partners of this Ministry and you find this ministry to be of value to you and perhaps others with whom you share it, we ask you to consider becoming Partners.
