REPENT OF WHAT? PART SEVEN
Greetings to all the precious peoples who are friends and Partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. Welcome back to this ongoing Sunday teaching series titled “Repent of What?” Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible. A friend of this Ministry encourages by sharing the teachings, a partner does that as well as support the Ministry financially. Whoever started the satanic teaching that the gospel is free? It wasn’t free from the get go, it cost God an unfathomable price. What is more important, more valuable, the gospel (Word of God, news of the Kingdom of God, and repentance) or the money in your pocket? Who started the idea that one can just show up to be fed in the natural (restaurant) or spiritually (Church) empty handed? Money is a tool for our use in the earth for Kingdom of God purposes and is not to be a god! Do we really believe what God said about tithing as well as seedtime and harvest? Have we ever wondered why so many Christians have famine (not just financial) or the presence of just enough (for you) in their lives? Sowing into good ground with a willing heart, an eager to do it heart, a cheerful heart, and an obedient heart mixed with faith will bring increase without sweat or toil. We always have a part to perform in every aspect of life but it should not be hard or burdensome. If it is, it is not God. Before I move on let me ask a question. Why are there not really wealthy Christians everywhere in every Church? Why aren’t the richest people on the earth Christians? Perhaps these are some things of which we should repent.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
The Church likes to refer to this verse with prime emphasis on the healing of the land. Christians like to point to the world, the heathen, as needing to repent and of course they do need Jesus but they are not the cause of our troubles. Who is God talking to? He is talking to His people not the devil’s people. This seems obvious, but is apparently a complete mystery to the Church. Who is called by the name of God (called by my name)? Is He talking to people outside of Covenant (uncircumcised Philistines – the heathen) or people in Covenant with Him? Can someone please tell me why the Church keeps looking to people in the kingdom of darkness to turn from their wicked ways so God can heal the land?
This was posted on Facebook today (June 24, 2020) by a prominent Church leader. “It’s time for right thinking Americans of both major political parties to put their feet down and stop the craziness going on in our country. If you can’t lead now you don’t deserve the opportunity.” So, who does this Church leader blame and place the responsibility for correction upon? Why does the Church of all people look to the natural, the world, for the solution to spiritual problems which they are responsible for causing? Does the world even have the authority or power to correct the problem? Do they have any incentive and do they even know what the problem is? Who does God say can fix the problem in the 2 Chronicles verse? Do you see the problem in the thinking of the Church? Beelzebub is not going to fix a problem he created with the permission of the Church. The Church moans and groans about what is going on all the while singing “what will be will be”, and believing it. Oh my!
Looking back at the 2 Chronicles 7:14 Scripture, who is God saying needs to repent, turn from their wicked ways before the healing of the land can occur? The Church has needed to turn from its wicked ways for decades, it seems their heart is hardened with a stiff neck. There is remnant rising who have and others to come will repent, who have and are turning from their wicked ways (not someone else’s), and God will hear, and He will heal the land. Unfortunately, the traditional organized Church will be on the sidelines. This rising remnant is a Nehemiah generation who will restore the walls repairing the breaches. The prayer of repentance by the Church, by the remnant, perhaps will be like the one prayed by Nehemiah.
Nehemiah 1:6-7 (KJV)
6 Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.
7 We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.
We, the Church, have not kept the commandments, statutes, or judgments of what we call the Old and New Testament. The proof is in the pudding as they say. The Church and the people in the Church, although saved, are impotent. Why are we not doing the things Jesus did and the greater things? Why are we not eating the good of the land? Let’s not be insulted and declare “I never and stomp off”. Am I, are you, partaking of the Promised Land or just reading, talking, hooping and hollering and running around the Church about it? The Power, the manifestation of the “Promised Land” is in our obedience (love [agape]), and our mixing faith (Mark 11:22-25) with the promises. Disobedience, evil reports, keep us out of the Promised Land just as it did the children of Israel. Come on Church, repent, focus on the Word of God, the Promised Land, decree a thing, believe without wavering, believe you have received it, and God tells us we will have it. In the process do not bring up an evil report, speak only God’s report. Dear children we are the governing authority in the earth and everything of the earth is ours, all other authority is illegal, and all things the world has are illegal as well. Starting with repentance, let’s get on the pure Truth, and take back (decree in faith, in love, led of the Spirit) what the devil has stolen and then some. God is not worried that we have “too much”.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
