AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

Greetings dear and precious people who follow The Three Minute Word blog and who partner (financially) with Eastern Gate Ministries International Inc. Our partners are so essential in getting the Truth out to all who will receive, prove, believe, and do the Truth. The funds are also essential, as the Lord leads, to reach into people’s lives and make a tangible (physical) difference. Remember the Apostle James writings by the unction of the Holy Spirit.
James 2:14-17 (KJV)
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Recently we have sponsored a brief Sabbatical for a local Pastor, and are currently reaching into another precious saints’ life experiencing serious physical limitations. Money in the hands of a believer is to be a tool to change the lives of people and to be a witness of the goodness of our God. Our God is not pleased by the poverty of His people, looks bad for Him. What would you think of a dad who walked around in $1000 suits but sent his kids into the world in old dirty tore up cloths? And, let us all get all of this poverty baloney out of our thinking. It is a false idea, a lie, that being spiritually rich and physically poor can coexist, and is in fact the will of God. We are to love (agape) the Lord our God above ALL else and we are to love (agape) people after that! We are Kingdom of God sons and our primary focus is to be about Kingdom of God business. We are joint heirs of this Kingdom; it is as much ours as our Fathers’!

Wasn’t she just radiant? Now, let’s delve into our Scripture today from the wonderful Book of Isaiah, continuing to read out loud. Please don’t be rebellious, read it out loud. You are not rebelling against me, or engaged in some innocuous (innocent) act, but you are rebelling against God which is as witchcraft.
Isaiah 19:9-14 (KJV)
9 Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.
10 And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.
11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
12 Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.
13 The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.
14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.
I think it is obvious to us all that we are continuing to deal with what appear to be quite obscure and difficult to understand passages which go on and on. On the other hand, the Lord is going to great lengths to impress upon us the horrendous consequences of sin. All sin, unrepented sin. Repentance is always the way out. Is there anything in the preceding Isaiah passage that just thrilled you and you wanted to be a participant in receiving? I sure hope not! This is not different from the various forms of curse described in Deuteronomy 28 and the cause is the same, sin.
Deuteronomy 28:14-15 (KJV)
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Deuteronomy 28 is 68 verses long, take a look and see if there is anything you could enjoy in those verses in your life or that of the people around you.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week and remember that we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
