AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH
Sunday – December 27, 2020, Tevet 12, 5781
THE GREATER THINGS – PART EIGHTEEN
Greetings to all of our friends and partners and welcome back to this Sunday Bible Study focused on the works Jesus did and the greater works. Come expecting to receive what you need and expect to contribute according to the will of God and your spiritual gifts. God is so good to us dear ones. Let us forsake the traditions of men, the doctrines of demons, our unbelief, and walk in the fulness of who we are, who God created us to be. We are in the image of the Triune Co-Equal God and in their likeness. We are an exact duplicate of kind. We are made to look like Him and do like Him. We have lost our image and it is not being preached in many Churches but it is being preached here for the glory of God. Let us determine before God right now that we will not be the same or worse off at the end of 2021 but better off. By that I mean prospering spiritually and physically well beyond today.
3 John 1:2 (HCSB)
2 Dear friend, I pray that you may prosper in every way and be in good health physically just as you are spiritually.
I hope we have all concluded that we cannot stay in the same spiritual condition as today and expect to do the works Jesus did and the greater works.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Now, let’s look at a couple of accounts in Scripture and ask ourselves if we see this happening in our lives.
John 6:19-21 (KJV)
19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.
20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.
21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.
This is John’s account of Jesus walking on the water. Let’s look at verse twenty-one in the Complete Jewish Bible.
John 6:21 (CJB)
21 Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and instantly the boat reached the land they were heading for.
Wow, has this ever happened to you? Do you, do I believe this is possible and will actually start happening on a regular basis to facilitate the Kingdom of God? For the “but that was Jesus” crowd what about the following?
Acts 8:39-40 (KJV)
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
Looking back at the account of the boat with Jesus and the disciples being instantly at the shore and with Philip being caught away to Azotus, nobody seems surprised. Notice there is no discussion about it by anyone like this was just the way life had come to be. Why are these occurrences no longer common place? Even the eunuch who was just born again wasn’t fazed or amazed or wondering about it. Folks do you see just how far we have fallen? How often does this come up in conversations with your Christian friends or even in Church? What about the following?
Mark 4:38-41 (KJV)
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
Just like this storm was designed to hinder the gospel, even kill them, so it is in our lives. What are we saying to our storms? Are people asking what manner of man or woman you or I am? If not, why not?

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
