THE LORD RIDETH ON A SWIFT CLOUD

Greetings dear and precious people who follow The Three Minute Word blog and who partner (financially) with Eastern Gate Ministries International Inc. Our partners are so essential in getting the Truth out to all who will receive, prove, believe, and do the Truth. The funds are essential, as the Lord leads, to reach into people’s lives and make a tangible difference. Money is not to be worshiped or be our primary focus, however money is given as a tool to change the lives of people and to be a witness of the goodness of our God. Our God is not pleased by the poverty of His people, looks bad for Him. And, let us all get it out of our thinking that being spiritually rich and physically poor can coexist and is in fact the will of God. We are to love (agape) the Lord our God above ALL else and we are to love (agape) people after that! We are Kingdom of God sons and our primary focus is to be about Kingdom of God business.
Please take a moment to share this teaching by every avenue available to you to expand our reach with the Truth. Today the featured picture is of the Statehouse in Delaware. We are commanded to pray for all in authority and honor (yes, even obey) all in authority. That includes legal authority beyond government that is within the confines of Gods’ moral Law. May we again learn and practice loyalty and submission to proper leadership in every sphere of life, spiritual and natural when conformed to the Laws of God. Now, let’s delve into our Scripture today from the wonderful Book of Isaiah, continuing to read out loud. Please don’t be rebellious, read out loud.
Isaiah 19:1-4 (KJV)
1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
Many of these passages in Isaiah, but other prophetic Books, can be quite cryptic (mysterious, enigmatic, puzzling and not straightforward). And so are these few lines, verses, above. However, I do think we can see some types and shadows of things that we can discuss. If you think about it, some of this passage would remind one of Matthew 24 and Jesus’ Words concerning the end of times. Let’s take a look at that so we can fully appreciate the similarities.
Matthew 24:4-7 (KJV)
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Many Christians, including myself, believe we are in the very last of the last days, however, all that Jesus points out has been going on since Genesis. Notice the phrase “but the end is not yet” in the Matthew reference. The end (Rapture) will come my friend when the Church actually becomes the Church (not even close today) and exercises its full authority backed by the Power (Blessing) of God in alignment with the leadership of the Holy Spirit and Scripture.
In Scripture the word “Egypt” may refer to a specific country but may also refer to sin and the lord of sin, the demons and Satan. There is disorder, chaos and violence in the world, unfortunately in the Church as well, it must stop. Idolatry abounds in the world and the Church alike. So far as the country of Egypt, and many around the world, is concerned what could be a crueler lord than Islam? Who is crueler than Satan and his evil hoards? Remember, they come ONLY to steal, kill, and destroy.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
