THE PLACE OF SAFETY – PART FIVE
Greetings to the dear and precious saints who follow this blog and welcome back to this short series titled “The Place of Safety”. We say thank you to the friends of this Ministry for consistently giving us a thumbs up or heart (Facebook) and sharing with your friends. We are also thankful and grateful to our partners who do these things plus partner (invest in the Kingdom of God) with us financially. The financial support enables us to extend the hand of God to more people through the Teaching and Prophetic arm, the Sabbatical Moments Arm, and the Conference Arm. Now, let’s direct our attention back to our Bible Study. Being saved does not put us automatically in a place of safety. A place of absolute safety, yes in this world, is available to all but we must, like everything else in the Kingdom of God, appropriate it into our lives by faith. For example, salvation is available to all but we are not just automatically saved, we must do our part. Like it or not, we always have a part. God is not in control of our destiny, we are, God gave us freewill, and the provision of life on earth as in Heaven but we must do our part. We are the ones with authority (dominion – control) in the earth.
As we further our study of “The Place of Safety” I will pick up again with love (agape) and move forward. If we don’t get the love thing right, forget the rest. Love (agape) cannot exist without another choice being available. We are not robots, puppets, or predestined to a certain choice or future. We choose. God upholds our choices according to spiritual and physical law whether they be good or bad. The highest level of love, the God level of love, is simply defined as obedience to the Word of God. This is agape (love). We are in the god class of being, created or made in the image and likeness of God.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (bold added)
He breathed of Himself into us, so our spirit man has the DNA of God Himself.
Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
God did not breath fresh air (natural air) into our lungs, He breathed of Himself into the physical body He made from the dust of the ground. He breathed life into man. This is why when our spirit leaves the body, the body can no longer live.
James 2:26 (KJV)
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
As an aside, it appears to me that no life (physical or spiritual) can exist in the absence of the Holy Spirit. Consider the following Scripture.
Genesis 1:20 (KJV)
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
The word ‘life’ is the word ‘hay’ transliterated from the Hebrew which is a part of the name of God. Our spirit and soul (commonly referred to as our spirit man) at the creation of man was an impartation of God. The soul is the mind, will, and emotions. The fruit of our spirit is the same as the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
When we are dead in our sins our spirit man is separated from, and dead to God having no part with Him. We see elements of these fruit of the spirit in fallen persons but we can produce these on a supernatural level when quickened (made alive) by the Holy Spirit. There really should be no comparison between Christians and the heathen when we have taken the time to strengthened ourselves with the Word of God and practice (exercise) the fruits of our spirit. Our fruit of the spirit should be abundant and obvious to all, nourishing all we come into contact with. Fallen man cannot keep or do the Scriptures because he does not have the help of the Holy Spirit (Grace). Unfortunately, many Christians are doing their own thing, focused somewhere other than the Word of God, and expecting God (Holy Spirit) to join them. That is not how it works dear ones. The word ‘love’ in Galatians 5:22 is the agape love, the same love God uses towards all of mankind. Supernatural love will make forgiveness much easier, help us to avoid judging, as well as be empowered to cast down the lusts of the eye, the lusts of the flesh, and the issues concerned with pride of life.
God is love (1 John 4:8) and in Him is our eternal life (spirit, soul, and body) and the life of all things living. In His love is also a place of absolute safety. More next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
