THE DEVILS’ VORTEX
Greetings to the dear and precious saints who follow this blog and welcome back to this short series titled “The Place of Safety”. We say thank you to the friends of this Ministry for consistently giving us a thumbs up or heart (Facebook) and sharing with your friends. We are also thankful and grateful to our partners who do these things plus partner (invest in the Kingdom of God) with us financially. The financial support enables us to extend the hand of God to more people through the Teaching and Prophetic arm, the Sabbatical Moments Arm, and the Conference Arm. Now, let’s direct our attention back to our Bible Study.
This specific study was prompted of the Lord in the face of the current Coronavirus Pandemic. Many in the Church and the Church at large have not been in a place of safety from its birth due to wrong ideas (traditions of men, doctrines of devils, and just plain unbelief). This is not the will of God, it is not why Jesus came, died in our stead, and took the curse in our stead. Being saved does not automatically put us in a place of safety. A place of absolute safety, yes in this world, in this life, is available to all but we must, like everything else in the Kingdom of God, appropriate (take, seize) it into our lives by faith. For example, salvation is available to all but we are not just automatically saved, we must do our part. Like it or not, we always have a part. God has prepared a destiny beyond compare for each of us. He does not choose or control our destiny we do. We are the ones with authority (dominion – control) in the earth. When we do our part, He does His. Think about salvation. Salvation has been available to everyone since Calvary but only those who called upon the Lord have been saved. When we call upon the Lord, saying Jesus is our Lord and that we believe the Father raised Him from the dead we are saved.
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Ephesians 2:5 (KJV)
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
The quickening by the Holy Spirit (Grace) is when our spirit man is made alive, given eternal life (we were in eternal death – damned by our choice, on our way to Hell). This study is about the place of safety and it starts with salvation or being saved. Let’s take a look at the word ‘saved’ in Romans 10:9 above. This word translated into English as saved is the transliterated word from the Greek sōzō meaning to be safe, delivered, protected, healed, preserved, save, to do well, and be (make) whole according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Wow! Just as the first step to enter the Kingdom of God has been available all along, our part is repentance (180° turn in thinking, speaking, and doing), and declaring Jesus as Lord. So, how will all the other things come into our lives listed as a part of salvation? In the same exact way! All must be done in faith, in love (agape), and led of the Holy Spirit. Look back at the Romans reference and notice we must confess with our mouth and believe in our heart for salvation to occur and for any other promise of God to be a reality spiritually and physically in our lives. Remember and practice Mark 11:22-25. I will talk more about this next week, Lord willing.
This morning (5-20-2020) as I was preparing for the day and was thinking upon this Pandemic, the state of the Church, and the Pastors in particular the Lord brought the word ‘vortex’ into my thinking. This is what the Lord said; “my pastors are caught up in the devils’ vortex”. As I meditated upon this, I looked up the definition of ‘vortex’ in the Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary and found it can be a whirling or circular motion of water (whirlpool) or air (whirlwind) and it draws in from the surroundings. A whirlpool is what you see when the water is draining rapidly from a sink or bathtub. The word ‘vortex’ is not found in the KJV of the Bible but whirlwind is found. This whirlwind phenomena started slow at first, this is how the devils work, and becomes much more intense. The traditional Church is being set aside and is going down the drain as the remnant is arising. This is astounding, so sad, and so unnecessary (all pride). Meditate on the following passage as we end for today.
Hosea 8:5-7 (TLB)
5 “O Samaria, I reject this calf—this idol you have made. My fury burns against you. How long will it be before one honest man is found among you?
6 When will you admit this calf you worship was made by human hands! It is not God! Therefore, it must be smashed to bits.
7 “They have sown the wind, and they will reap the whirlwind. Their cornstalks stand there barren, withered, sickly, with no grain; if it has any, foreigners will eat it.
The calf we have been worshiping is the Church. The Church, the building and the gathering in that building has come to far exceed the training in the Word which is to occur in that building. Today as we hear people talking about “getting back to Church” or “reopening the Church” it has nothing to do with the Word of God but the social aspects of Church and the singing. Not that there is anything wrong with either but it must be far from the focus. Church leaders have sown the wind and now we have a whirlwind (Coronavirus) with greater whirlwinds to follow. 20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
