AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE WHOLE HEAD IS SICK
Greeting precious redeemed children of God and greetings to those who are still running from God. Welcome back to this powerful, revelatory, and empowering study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Isaiah, God, spoke to that generation and to ours. God is so good to give us His Word to direct our path in the way of righteousness. God created this whole thing. Believe it or not, He actually knows what works perfectly and what is fatally flawed. The featured picture today is of Donna and me last summer at Quill Hill in Rangeley Maine. A wonderful outing with Pastors Tom and Lori Duperry. As we move forward, please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible. Sharing gives every person reading this the opportunity to tell and spread the good news. God sees.
At birth every person whether they know it or not have an obligation before God to do all of His will. Discharging that obligation will yield the most amazing life imaginable. Few pick Gods’ path early on and way too many never chose God’s path. Many have taught their children they can do anything they want. Others having been taught and knowing they are to seek God’s perfect way believe they know a better way. Just think how foolish it is to think we have a better way than the one who Created all things, preplanned a spectacular life for each of us (Heaven upon the earth), the one who loves (agape) us, and the one Who paid an incalculable price for us. How absurd! Each of us were purchased by Christ Jesus at Calvary, we are not our own, we have obligations before God. Those obligations are so far outweighed by benefits, there is no comparison. It would be like comparing a one-dollar bill (our obligation) to a trillion one-dollar bills (our benefits). Why do we fight against the Lord? I’m not talking about the heathen; I’m talking about you and me brother and sister.
When our physical eyes close in death only one thing matters and that is, did we choose Jesus as our Lord and Savior. If we did choose Him, what did we do with the wonderful opportunity He gave unto us in the earth.
2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV)
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Did we pay one lick of attention to the Eden Mandates (seven eternal commands) or did we just wing it? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud. Faith comes by hearing not by seeing.
Isaiah 1:4-7 (KJV)
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
Is the whole head sick? The head is referring to leadership in every area of our lives. Hopefully you are aware there are seven pillars, gates, spheres of influence in Heaven and earth that give order and define function. These seven areas are Religion, Government, Family, Finance, Media, Science/Education, and Arts and Entertainment. Who is determining the culture (values) of these spheres of influence? The world systems or the Church? Sin or righteousness flow from the head or leadership.
1 Kings 22:51-53 (KJV)
51 Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.
52 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:
53 For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.
God has people to whom He has given talents, Anointing, and called to be leaders of tens, hundreds, thousands, and nations. Where are they? The Church is to be visible and functioning at a level far above the dark knowledge of the world in every area of influence. The Power of God, the goodness of God, is to manifest in every sphere of society not just the Church House. Yes, the whole head is sick. We expect the leaders of the world to be sick but not the Anointed of God for leadership in each area. Let’s throw off the wet blankets of the traditions of men and the doctrines of demons and move forward with Truth in our authority and the Power of God. We must identify the evil in our own lives, in our midst and drive it far from us. What are the Baals (idols) in our lives, in the Church? I’m talking about us, about the body of Christ. Take heart, there is a Rising Remnant, jump on board, declare fruitfulness, increase, shun fear, dismay, and lack, embrace love (agape), victory, and abundance. Awake, arise, and triumph Church!

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
