WHEN HE IS COME

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog where we are exploring the wonderful Book of John. Thought you might enjoy the follow-up to yesterday’s picture taken by a game camera on the back patio at the house of our birdseed bandit. As you can see, he/she has slid the squirrel guard down and has bent the pole, bird feeder over, and is pouring birdseed on the ground. Now, please take a moment to share these teachings each day to expand the reach of this Ministry. God is so very good dear ones. Wow, this year is speeding by, just a few more days and it is half gone. Have we redeemed the time? Have we allowed the enemy to consume our time? We will be accountable. What have we learned over the last three months during this Pandemic? How have we used the time? What has been our focus? Has it been business as usual? Has it been a time to complain and rail against things, people, and the government? Have we used this challenge and time to perfect our patience, purge the extraneous in our lives, and seek the Lord? What has been our personal and corporate Church response to this pestilence? Are each of us satisfied that we have responded in way that is pleasing to God? What about our Churches? What are your plans and mine to be ready for the next wave? No matter the apparent situation today the 9th of June, without repentance, we are far from done. Now, let’s turn our focus to our primary Bible text and read it out loud, aloud, yes, out loud.
John 16:8-12 (KJV)
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Jesus in the waning moments of His earthly Ministry is downloading big time to those present and to us today. These Words are timeless even the ones that seem to be temporal or applicable to those moments. In a few hours Jesus will be on the Cross and in three days He will be the first born from the dead. Jesus is leaving, returning to Heaven, and the Holy Spirit is again coming into the earth in fulness. Again, mankind if they so choose can have an intimate relationship with God by way of the Holy Spirit. Dear ones we must live our life in this carnal, mortal flesh, but we must become more and more spirit minded, having Heavens view and not earths. We are in the Kingdom of God, not the kingdom of darkness. Why are we operating our lives according to the rules of the kingdom of darkness which leads to poverty and disease. We must operate in the natural and spirit realms understanding, knowing, and having faith that the spirit realm dominates the natural. We are to be at least ten times better in all that we do than the heathen who do not have the Holy Spirit and are not in Covenant with God (uncircumcised heathen).
In verse eight, the number of new beginnings, Jesus narrows the focus for this teaching concerning the function of the Comforter (Holy Spirit).

According to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary reprove means to confute, admonish, convict, convince, tell a fault, rebuke, and reprove. The Complete Word Study Dictionary – New Testament defines reprove as to convict, to show to be wrong. If we will attune ourselves to God, being God inside minded, and study the Holy Word of God to show ourselves approved He, the Comforter, will warn us when we are getting off track. There is no substitute for walking in the light, in the perfect will of God, led of the Spirit of God and the Word of God. This is a wonderful early warning system to which we need to be keenly attuned. He is right 100% of the time, even when we do not understand. In this instance Jesus is talking specifically of what the Holy Spirit will do concerning the world. After all, it is the world that most desperately needs God, salvation. However, He (the Comforter) does the same for us as well. Unfortunately, saint and sinner alike all too often harden their hearts (mind, consciousness) to sin. However, there was a time when they both knew and both are without excuse on Judgment Day.
Romans 1:20 (TLB)
20 Since earliest times men have seen the earth and sky and all God made, and have known of his existence and great eternal power. So they will have no excuse [when they stand before God at Judgment Day].
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
