Wednesday – January 10, 2024, Tevet 29, 5784
Greetings dear brothers and sisters in Christ, children of the Most High God and welcome back to this wonderful study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. We have been studying this Book for over two years now and I suspect we will take through most if not all of 2024. Please take a moment and share this and all the teachings of this Ministry and share as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. I left off yesterday as God is telling His people what freedom looks like, what return to the land will look like. It seems He is talking about a return of Jews to the land but also of the influx of the Gentiles, not into Israel but into His family, His Kingdom.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in Isaiah continuing to read out loud, yes, out loud, you know why.
Isaiah 49:20-23 (AMP)
20 The children of your bereavement [born during your captivity] shall yet say in your ears, The place is too narrow for me; make room for me, that I may live.
21 Then [Zion], you will say in your heart, Who has borne me all these children, seeing that I lost my offspring and am alone and barren and unfruitful, an exile put away and wandering hither and thither? And who brought them up? Behold, I was left alone [put away by the Lord, my Husband]; from where then did all these children come?
22 Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will lift up My hand to the Gentile nations and set up My standard and raise high My signal banner to the peoples; and they will bring your sons in the bosom of their garments, and your daughters will be carried upon their shoulders.
23 And kings shall be your foster fathers and guardians, and their queens your nursing mothers. They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know [with an acquaintance and understanding based on and grounded in personal experience] that I am the Lord; for they shall not be put to shame who wait for, look for, hope for, and expect Me.
The Jewish people then and the Jewish people now have been scattered among the nations. Just as they were regathered in the ancient days for a season, they (Jews) have been regathered and are once again a nation (Israel) since May 14, 1948 never to disappear from the earth again. Focus on verse eight of the following passage which refers to the rebirth of Israel in a day.
Isaiah 66:5-8 (KJV)
5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Before I close, I want to point out that another nation was birthed in a day as well and that nation was the Church. On Resurrection Day when Jesus entered the room with shut door supernaturally and breathed on them, the Church in the earth was birthed.
John 20:22 (KJV)
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
Let’s close with the last phrase of verse 23 “they shall not be put to shame who wait for, look for, hope for, and expect Me”. Are we perfecting our patience (a fruit of our spirit) in waiting for, looking for, hoping for, and expecting the good fruit of our obedience? There is a false idea in the Church that God just does whatever He wants when He wants. God always works with and through people. He and the holy angel’s word with the words of our mouth. These are words spoken in faith, powered by love, and led of the Holy Spirit. If you have ever worked with people, that can take some time.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
