AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners and welcome back to this instructive and faith building Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share this teaching by every means available to you to expand our reach with the gospel, the good news of the Kingdom of God. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is of Donna and me in one of our favorite places, the House of God. Now let’s launch into our text for today continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud and you know why.
Isaiah 25:6-8 (NLT)
6 In Jerusalem, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will spread a wonderful feast for all the people of the world. It will be a delicious banquet with clear, well-aged wine and choice meat.
7 There he will remove the cloud of gloom, the shadow of death that hangs over the earth.
8 He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign LORD will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery
against his land and people. The LORD has spoken!
What a beautiful and wonderful Prophecy of the things to come for the Church, those in Christ Jesus. I have already spoken of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb which takes place right at the end of the Great Tribulation when the Banquet Table is full. That is to say, those who were killed for their faith in Christ Jesus in the Tribulation period are also gathered to the table. Let’s review.
Revelation 19:7-9 (KJV)
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Death is swallowed up forever by the finished work of Christ at Calvary, in Hell, and in the Resurrection and Restoration. Dear ones there is a new heaven and a new earth at the door. Prepare to rejoice! A new heaven (the atmosphere and second heaven) and a new curse free earth are on the way!
Revelation 21:1-4 (KJV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
God Himself will wipe away every tear from our eyes. No more tears forever! I believe there are many reasons for this to be necessary but that is for another teaching at another time. Let’s look at this even further.
Revelation 21:10-14 (KJV)
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
And as we approach the end of the Book we find that there will be no curse in the new heaven or the new earth nor in the New Jerusalem descended from Heaven.
Revelation 22:1-3 (KJV)
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
There is nothing but good, nothing but victory ahead of us dear ones, it will just get better and better. We can have a life of victory in this earth, in this life and wow it steps up a giant step when we leave here. Victory in this life comes for those who know who they are in Christ Jesus, exercise the whole armor of God, and walk in the authority given us by God Himself.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
