YOU HAVE NOT CALLED UPON ME
Good morning children of the most High God and welcome back to our study of the Book of Isaiah. If you are not a child of the most High God you are a child of darkness, of Satan. I realize that is a little blunt but the cast of staying in the devils’ kingdom is way to high, it is stealing, killing, and destroying now and Hell forever after this life. Change kingdoms today! Before moving on please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is of a typical American School to remind us to pray for our education system, one of the seven pillars of society. Praying for all of the seven pillars of society including the education system is not an option for the Christian, it is a command. It is an option only for those who have no problem with sin in their lives.

15 The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.
I think we are all aware, most Christians at least, that public education in the United States left the tracks a long time ago. The heathen will not be the ones to right this righteous education train, it must be the Church. Each of us have a role. Let us all seek the Lord as to our role. Let us be sincere pleasing our Heavenly Father as we pray for all in the educational system, both students and teachers alike. When we kick, yes, we the Church, the only True God out of education just who did we think would take His place? Nothing happens in the earth that we the Church have not allowed. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 43:19-23 (KJV)
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
22 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
As we move from verse twenty-one to verse twenty-two there is a definite shift in tenor (tone, mood). He is telling His people, His chosen people then, and now, the wonderful things for them and us in His plan. The 22nd verse starts with the conjunctive “But” which in the Hebrew I understand brings whatever was presented previously to zero. The Lord says, all of these wonderful things are available, I want you as my people, I have chosen you, and I will provide way over the top for you but you must call upon me. See this verse in the Message Bible.
Isaiah 43:22 (MSG)
22 “But you didn’t pay a bit of attention to me, Jacob. You so quickly tired of me, Israel.
Why don’t people pay attention to the Lord, and become tired of Him? At its root is pride, we want to go our own way, do our own thing, be our own god. This is the way of the Devil himself and is not to be our way. There is nothing but heartache on this path and then eternity in Hell. Let’s stay off the path of stealing, killing, and destruction ending in Hell and chose the path of abundance in Christ Jesus ending in Heaven. As we move forward, we see that the people of God are not honoring Him with their offerings. Sound like today?
