SHOW FORTH MY PRAISE
Good morning children of the most High God and welcome back to our study of the Book of Isaiah. If you are not a child of the most High God you are a child of darkness, of Satan. I realize that is a little blunt but the cast of staying in the devils’ kingdom is way to high, it is stealing, killing, and destroying now and Hell forever after this life. Change kingdoms today! Before moving on please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is of the Supreme Court of the United States to remind us to pray for our nation, particularly the justice system, all those in authority. Anyone watching the new even to a minimal degree knows that real justice is becoming harder to find. God is all about justice applied consistently and evenly not so the kingdom of darkness.

14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Praying for those in authority is not an option for the Christian, it is a command. It is an option only for those who have no problem with sin in their lives.
1 Timothy 2:2 (NLT)
1 I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.
2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and pleases God our Savior,
4 who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For,
Let us be sincere pleasing our Heavenly Father as we pray for all in authority not just governmental leaders. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 43:19-23 (KJV)
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
22 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
Last week we left off with verse twenty and the idea that this drink for “my people, my chosen” was more than natural water but the life-giving Word of God. He is not looking for the creation to honor Him but His people, His chosen people, His family! At that time the chosen people that He had formed were the Jewish people, the natural seed of Abraham. In the creation and following for some two thousand years there were two people groups, the Gentiles and the Jews. With the coming of Christ and all that followed there are now three people groups in the earth, the Gentile, the Jew, and the Church (body of Christ).

32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
The number twenty in Scripture is the number redemption. Jesus is the Redeemer; He is the Living Water.
John 4:10 (KJV)
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
John 4:14 (KJV)
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
They were indeed a chosen people but they were a type and shadow of the chosen people to come that would include Jew and Gentile in Christ Jesus, the Church.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Isn’t the Word of God just so wonderful?
