WICKEDNESS DEVOURS
Greetings precious Blood bought saints of the Most High God and welcome back to this powerful and empowering Bible Study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth. Thank you for sharing. The beautiful sunrise was taken at our ranch a few years ago. This creation even in this fallen state with sin causing the creation to groan in anguish awaiting the manifestations of the sons of God.
Romans 8:19 (KJV)
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Romans 8:22-23 (KJV)
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Yesterday, the Lord asked through me, where are the Christians, where are those who are like, just like, my Christ. Who is doing the works He did in the earth and the greater works as commanded? Let me ask as Joshua did the seven tribes of Israel, how long will we be slack?
Joshua 18:3 (KJV)
3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
Just like these long ago, the Promised Land, the Promises of God are already ours but we must claim them (more than words) and do whatever process is required by faith, in love, without doubt, led of the Holy Spirit and possess His promises. He is not withholding, it is not the false doctrine of sometimes He says yes, sometimes no, or sometimes not yet. We are the weak link, not Him, and not His Word.
2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)
20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
What do you say we get after it! Now, lets turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 9:16-18 (KJV)
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
18 For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
Evil brings destruction into our lives without fail. Look at the Words of Jesus about the thief and the evil he deceives people into committing.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The message is clear focus and stay focused on Jesus who is the Word and is the Truth.
1 Peter 5:5-9 (KJV)
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (Bold added)
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
Wow, what a passage outlining the road to avoid being devoured by our spiritual adversary. Will we follow it or go our own way helped by the deceptions of the demons.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
