A WELL OF TRUTH
WISDOM FROM THE BOOK – PART THREE
Greetings dear and precious Blood bought saints of God and welcome back to A WELL OF TRUTH. We are so blessed to serve a God, in fact the only God offering eternal life and prosperity of every kind here and hereafter, who shows us our path with Him clearly. Before moving forward please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the gospel, the Truth. Thank you for sharing, you have a vital role in this Ministry. Prepare to receive, prove, believe, doubt not, and implement the Word the Lord is having me deliver today. We will continue exploring a very small portion of the Wisdom Book of Ecclesiastes. So, now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today and continue reading out loud.
Ecclesiastes 10:4-8 (KJV)
4 If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
Perhaps we, the Church, the body of Christ, have forgotten some of these things, maybe we have received poor teaching (traditions of men, doctrines of demons), maybe we are not studying to show ourselves approved, or just plain don’t believe. Let’s start today with verse five and following.
Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 (KJV)
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
Notice that evil and an error are one and the same thing. We don’t tend to recognize that an error in our beliefs is a deviation from God’s Word to other words and this is evil. We have mitigated the seriousness of deviating from the Word of God with ideas like “we are all human”, “none of us are perfect” and so on. Back to the fifth verse, notice that these errors, evils, originate with the rulers. After the following announcement I will continue focusing mostly on spiritual rulers.

Acts 17:10-11 (KJV)
10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Are we proving ALL that we hear by two or three different witnesses? Now, let’s take a look at verses six and seven of our primary Bible text.
Ecclesiastes 10:6-7 (KJV)
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
Today we see the riches of the earth primarily in the hands of the heathen (those in folly) and we, the Church, who have inherited everything picking up the crumbs. This is upside down the Word of God. How did we get to this place? The same way it always happens, a lack of faith and at that foundation a lack of love (agape) for God and our fellow man. Jesus said we can judge a person by their fruit. We see a lot of hollering and declaring our love of God but very little fruit. This should not be! As we look to verse seven, we see the same idea transmitted, the ones who legally own all things walking and the heathen in the very nicest cars, homes, businesses, and so on. This is upside down but somehow over time the leaders have convinced the Church that this is the plan and will of God and we just need to hang on until we go to Heaven. As I conclude this series let’s look briefly at verse eight of our primary Bible text.
Ecclesiastes 10:8 (KJV)
8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
Traditions of men and the doctrines of demons have broken our rightful hedges and the serpent is biting the people of God at will. Let us repent and move into the fullness Jesus died for us to have.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
