AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

TRUST IN THE LORD
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners of this Ministry, and followers of The Three Minute Word blog. Remember we love you and there is nothing you can do about it. We will be continuing our study of the wonderful Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. This helps us to expand our reach with the Truth and in so doing you become a partner in obeying the command from the Head of the Church. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text today from the Book of Isaiah. Remember, to continue to read out loud. Faith comes by hearing.
Romans 10:17 (KJV)
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Neither silent reading nor reading out loud that is perfunctory builds faith. Let’s get serious saints!
Isaiah 26:1-5 (KJV)
1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
Once again, I am going to pick up with verse three of our primary Bible text above. The functioning of things in the spiritual is mirrored in the natural. For example, we can ask, we can command, we can even sit in the driver’s seat and cry and beg the car to take us somewhere. We can even go through all kinds of commotions to convince the car to start and go but it will not. Until we engage the car exactly according to the owner’s manual it will not start or move. And so, it is with the things of the spirit. Do you suppose Abraham had to keep his mind stayed on the Word he heard, received of God? Of course, the answer is yes. Did Abraham have to fully trust God? Of course, the answer once again is yes.
Romans 4:17-21 (KJV)
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Do we have to call things that be not as though they already existed in the natural? Yes, we do! We have to call that thing out of the spirit realm just as Abraham called Isaac out of the spirit realm into the natural. In order for Isaac to manifest some things in the natural had to happen to either Sarah or Abraham or both. When he staggered not and was fully persuaded the child of promise was conceived and came forth. If we don’t, it will not manifest. Abraham had to meditate on the certainty of the Word of God, not on their past history, and not on the doubters around them. When we bring our A game according to the Word of God, God will cause the thing to manifest.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, the Lord is good, He is nothing but good, any trash in our lives is not from Him.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
