SPECIAL EDITION – ELECTIONS
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (Bold added)
My question is this. Do we, the people of God see the election yesterday bringing healing to our land? Who brings healing to our land any land? Politicians? The Lord? It is the Lord of course and this much quoted and rarely obeyed verse tell us this. When you repent, I (God) will hear, I will forgive, and I will heal your land. So, what can we conclude? His people have not repented! Listen to Jesus, this is not just for the sinner, the heathen.
John 3:19-21 (KJV)
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
I didn’t call anyone wicked or evil, but seems like God did, any chance He is right? I know this message is about as popular as an abscessed tooth but it is the Truth. There is a great wickedness in and out of the Church. For example, I saw on the news that the people of Massachusetts have elected the first ever lesbian Governor. Where was the Church? Since the last election there has been a Word of the Lord recurring in my thoughts. This thought is that we (His people) have gotten focused on the politicians like Trump and others. They are not the ones to heal our land, the Lord may use them, but the Lord God is the healer. This is akin to having another god before Him, idolatry.
Isaiah 48:11 (KJV)
11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
The glory of God is the manifested for all to see goodness of God. We are to give all glory (thank Him and acknowledge Him as the source of the goodness) to Him and at the same time being thankful for the men and women that are yielded to Him in government. Where are the men and women of God after Gods’ own heart?
Acts 13:21-23 (KJV)
21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
As I was talking to the Lord about this again this morning, He pointed out that it is not the size of the rising remnant that is important it is the obedience of that remnant. Now, I would like to share some prophetic Words to me from the past.
I cannot find the dates of the following two but one was before the election of President Obama and the second a few years later.
“A storm is coming, it need not be, the Church can avert the storm” The second was the same with the addition from the Book of Ester that “we were called such a time as this”. Of course, many of us assumed that the storm was the election of President Obama and the steep steady decline of our nation since with the exception of the President Trump years. As you all know we have seen much worse in more recent days.
On the 26th of June 2020 the Lord said “This nation is coming down on a firm foundation but the Church is not”.
More recently on the 19th of March 2022 at 5:57 AM speaking of a shift in our nations said “The shift will seem sudden”.
Finally on the 6th of November 2022 at 5:30 AM, before Election Day and many were predicting a “red wave” He said “but it is not yet”.
May we all pause and with the help of Holy Spirit examine our hearts. We love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
