FULL JUSTICE FOR ALL

Good morning (or whenever you are reading) dear and precious saints of God, friends and partners of this Ministry alike. Before I move forward, I want to extend an invitation to all who are not to become partners with this Ministry. There is more information concerning partnership at the conclusion of this teaching. And don’t forget I have several books I have written and are available on Amazon.

Welcome back to this dynamic teaching of the wonderful and precious Bible Book of Isaiah. Please pause for a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. The featured picture today is of Donna and me. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the wonderful Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 42:1-5 (TLB)
1 “See my servant, whom I uphold; my Chosen One in whom I delight. I have put my Spirit upon him; he will reveal justice to the nations of the world.
2 He will be gentle—he will not shout nor quarrel in the streets.
3 He will not break the bruised reed, nor quench the dimly burning flame. He will encourage the fainthearted, those tempted to despair. He will see full justice given to all who have been wronged.
4 He won’t be satisfied until truth and righteousness prevail throughout the earth, nor until even distant lands beyond the seas have put their trust in him.”
5 The Lord God who created the heavens and stretched them out, who created the earth and everything in it, who gives life and breath and spirit to everyone in all the world, he is the one who says [to his Servant, the Messiah],
Certainly, as we read down through this, we see Jesus, the Jesus that we know, not know about, but know, in every verse. I left off yesterday making the point that Jesus who was in the earth as a man having laid aside all that constitutes God need to be Anointed with the Holy Spirit just as we do. Those attributes are omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence. Look at what the Book of Hebrews says about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 9:14 (TLB)
14 just think how much more surely the blood of Christ will transform our lives and hearts. His sacrifice frees us from the worry of having to obey the old rules and makes us want to serve the living God. For by the help of the eternal Holy Spirit, Christ willingly gave himself to God to die for our sins—he being perfect, without a single sin or fault.
As you are well aware there is much imagery, types and shadows in the prophetic books including this one. With that in mind lets look at the third verse of our text in the Message Bible then the KJV.
Isaiah 42:3 (MSG)
3 He won’t brush aside the bruised and the hurt and he won’t disregard the small and insignificant, but he’ll steadily and firmly set things right.
Isaiah 42:3 (KJV)
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
A bruised reed is one, a person, a branch of the vine who is crushed, discouraged, and oppressed according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. A smoking flax is one who is feeble, feeling obscure, somewhat dark, darkish, waxing dim, and mired in heaviness according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Again, this looks a lot like Isaiah 61 and the passage Jesus read in the synagogue at the onset of His Ministry.
Luke 4:16-18 (TLB)
16 When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on Saturday, and stood up to read the Scriptures.
17 The book of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him, and he opened it to the place where it says:
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has appointed me to preach Good News to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted and to announce that captives shall be released and the blind shall see, that the downtrodden shall be freed from their oppressors,
If you need to loosed from the oppression of the evil ones today is your day, declare it over yourself, believe it, receive it and continually thank God for your freedom. The enemy may come back time and time again to oppress but just say: “no you don’t I am free in Jesus’ name now get out of here”.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
By: Dr. David R. Wood, Author, Bible Teacher, and Prophetic Voice
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
PRAYERS AND QUESTIONS – please contact us and we will respond. Our goal is to build a solid foundation upon which children of God can become sons of God, stand and do exploits in Jesus’ name.
PARTNERSHIP AND GIVING – Those of you who are not Partners of this Ministry and you find this ministry to be of value to you and perhaps others with whom you share it, we ask you to consider becoming Partners. A Partner is one who prays for the Ministry on a regular basis and contributes to the Ministry on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, annually). Thank you and may the Lord be pleased with your decision.
