AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

OUT OF DARKNESS
Greetings dear and precious saints of the ONLY living God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog and our study of the wonderful Book of Isaiah. Isn’t the Word just wonderful? It is a Book of life, the ONLY Book of Life. If we will do this Book, we will be bringing the will of God into the earth, days of Heaven upon the earth. As far as it concerns us, we can know and do the will of God and yes, we can even have days of Heaven upon the earth. So, let’s think about why we are not seeing the will of God in our lives, days of Heaven upon the earth, in our lives? Throw that poverty and suffer till we die theology into the ditch, it is a demonic lie. I don’t care who told you, get rid of it! We are studying Isaiah, why did hardship come to the children of God time after time? Not doing the will of God! Challenges come to all of us, the question is this, have we killed our flesh and have we denied the prince of the world a place in us. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible Text in the Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 42:7-12 (KJV)
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.
There was a day when we had blind eyes (spiritual) and were in the devil’s prison and didn’t even know it. Thought it was normal, just the way things were. No matter your station in life, if you are in darkness, Satan’s’ kingdom, you are captive to darkness, to sin and headed to Hell for eternity (not a day, not a week, not a year, not a hundred years, and not figuratively, really forever). There is a far better life now and in the life hereafter. The sad thing is that a vast number of the saved are no better off in this life, in any area of life, than their unsaved counterparts. This should not be so, the Bible does not teach what many Churches teach. We have come out of darkness into the light.
Colossians 1:13 (KJV)
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Delivered from the power (authority) of darkness into the Kingdom of light with all authority (dominion) restored to the believer backed by all the Power of God. The following verse is one of my favorites.
1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
We are king and priest like Jesus, we are holy as He is holy. We are indeed a special (peculiar) people purchased with His shed Blood and His broken body being made sin in our stead. He has called for all people to come out of darkness, some will like you and I, others will not. Our primary text tells us that not only were we in darkness, spiritual darkness, but we were in the god of World’s prison. However, Jesus was the light come into the world, the Word of God for all mankind not just the Jew. None of this would have been possible if it were not for Abram/Abraham and his faith to enter into Blood Covenant with God.
God needed a legal entry into the earth and that come through His Blood Covenant with Abram/Abraham which was tested on Mt. Moriah in Genesis chapter 22 being the final test (which Abraham and Issac passed with flying colors) guaranteeing the entry of the Messiah. This is the same Mount Moriah upon which Jesus would be made sin, shed His Blood, die spiritually, and then die physically and go into the bosom of the earth defeating and putting Satan to open shame. His Blood was pure, His testimony that of the Word of God, He was declared innocent and resurrected spirit and body, then restored again as God (second person of the Triune God) to the right hand of the Father. We have been bought with a price; we are not our own.
1 Corinthians 6:20 (KJV)
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
In this way, God can legally give us eternal life and a glorified body like unto that of the Christ, Jesus. Some do not believe that Jesus died spiritually. If didn’t our redemption is most incomplete with no legal right to eternal life, remaining forever dead spiritually.
