PRECIOUS IN MY SIGHT
Greetings dear children of our Heavenly Father and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. We are pursuing the Truths of this wonderful Bible Book with all of our hearts. This is not to be a casual information gathering time but a time when we make His thoughts ours, His Words ours, and His ways ours. I know you have been told over and over perhaps that His ways are not our ways and so on but dear ones that is not what the full counsel of Scripture tells us who worship God. We will cover this in great detail when we get to Isaiah chapter 55 but suffice to say now, He made us in His image, His likeness, and of the same kind (God class) to have His thoughts, His Words, and do things His way.
The featured picture today is to remind us of the seven pillars of society (Proverbs 9:1) and to pray for them on a regular basis. This includes all peoples around about us and our brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember, we are not begging God to do something about the messes in the earth. He has delegated all authority in the earth to us, His children, the body of Christ, according to His will (it’s in the Bible). When will we in our personal life, our family life, our community, and nation exercise our God given authority? Have you wondered why things are going from bad to worse? We, the people of God, the ones with the authority to bind wickedness and loose righteousness have been sitting on our hands begging God to do our part. Not going to happen dear ones. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 43:4-7 (KJV)
4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
I left off yesterday discussing that God was calling things that be not as though they were. He taught Abram whom He renamed Abraham to call things that be not as though they were and in turn all who will walk by faith in God must do the same. Let’s review this Truth once again since this is critical to our function in the Kingdom of God.
Romans 4:17 (KJV)
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
This verse is talking about Abram/Abraham and how he believed God and received Isaac when Sarah was not even pregnant and too old in the natural to conceive. See what God said.
Genesis 17:5 (KJV)
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
Notice that God said here that He had already made Abraham the father of many nations? Abraham did not have kid one at this point but He believed God, that was the only option for his future. Perhaps we can believe Jesus.
Mark 11:22-24 (KJV)
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
When do we believe we have the thing spoken about? When we pray, not when we see it. Now let me point out something that is commonly left out of discussions, teachings, and preaching from the pulpit. Commonly we hear that when we see or find a promise of God we are to claim it as our own and God will do it. That is not true. When we find the promise of God, we do claim it as our own. Then there will be something for us to do, our part. When we have believed and done our part, then God will do His part (the part we can’t do) making it a reality in this earth realm.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. (Bold added)
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Bold added)
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
