THOU HAST BEEN HONORABLE
Greetings dear children of our Heavenly Father and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. We are pursuing the Truths of this wonderful Bible Book with all of our hearts. This is not to be a casual information gathering time but a time when we make His thoughts ours, His Words ours, and His ways ours. I know you have been told over and over perhaps that His ways are not our ways and so on but dear ones that is not what the full counsel of Scripture tells us who worship God. We will cover this in great detail when we get to Isaiah chapter 55 but suffice to say now, He made us in His image, His likeness, and of the same kind (God class) to have His thoughts, His Words, and do things His way. Our goal is to be just like our Heavenly Father and our Big Brother!
John 14:8-10 (KJV)
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Do we believe this is possible for us? It sure is, if we will do what Jesus did, we will get the same result as Jesus. Which father is being reflected in my life, your life? The featured picture today of a beautiful blue bird was provided by Marilyn Stevens. Marilyn takes many wonderful nature pictures and posts on Facebook for all to see. Thank you, Marilyn. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 43:4-7 (KJV)
4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Remember that God is talking to His people who at that moment were in rebellion yet God is talking to them as if they were not. He has extended His Right Hand. Just like He does with all peoples, He makes known what is available (which is unlimited) and we choose. Will we believe, repent, and receive or continue with our powerless traditions? Just as they were precious in His sight so are we precious in His sight. Why? The price paid!
1 Peter 1:18-19 (KJV)
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Today we are precious for He sees us through the Blood of Jesus, He doesn’t see us as we are but as He (Jesus) is. He saw them as honorable and He sees us as honorable, ones of great value. Why? The price He was willing to pay to redeem us. This brings us once again to the command to fear not. We are well able to fear not. Fear is a spirit, God has not given us the spirit of fear therefore it is an evil spirit. We have all authority over every spirit. No, that is not a typo, yes, every spirit good or bad. Not going there right now in detail but let me give just one Scripture although it is everywhere.
Job 22:28 (KJV)
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Who establishes it, who is the light? Another example, when we say, command, to the mountain to go into the sea (Mark 11) who moves the mountain? An angel or the Holy Spirit so did we not command them? I don’t want to rile up the religious devils too bad today so I will move on. Back to the fifth verse, we can fear not with great confidence for God is with us.
Acts 10:38 (KJV)
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Are we any different? Has God Anointed you, is God with you?
By: Dr. David R. Wood, Author, Bible Teacher, and Prophetic Voice
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. (Bold added)
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Bold added)
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
PRAYERS AND QUESTIONS – please contact us and we will respond. Our goal is to build a solid foundation upon which children of God can become sons of God, stand and do exploits in Jesus’ name.
