FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT – FAITH – PART TWELVE
Greetings precious saints of God, brothers and sisters in Christ and welcome back to Friday Nuggets. I am currently dealing with the Fruit of our spirit. For several weeks I have been dealing with the fruit of faith and today is part twelve of that series. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means at your disposal. Thank you so much for sharing, you are important to us but more importantly to the Kingdom of God. Those of you who just hit the thumbs up or heart button go ahead and hit the share button, same amount of work, and not only encourages us but brings Truth to perhaps many that are not hearing the Truth. Please be reminded of my latest book and if you haven’t yet ordered, do so today.

Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for this present teaching on the fruit of our spirit. I will be continuing today on the fruit of faith. I thought I was done last week but apparently not.
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Today, I really think we can finish with faith today, not that we have exhausted the topic by any stretch of the imagination but finished for this study for now. First, I will deal with the Mark 11 Scripture and then I will again go back to Galatians 5:6. In Mark Eleven Jesus starts by telling us to have faith in God and then goes on to say what that looks like and what to expect. So, once again, let’s listen to what the Master has to say.
Mark 11:22-26 (KJV)
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
We are to say or speak to our mountain, not God, be removed. We must not be harboring any doubt, believing it will come to pass, it’s the only option for the mountain. Verse twenty-four adds a little more clarity by telling us that we must believe that we have received the desired result when we prayed (spoke) not when we see it. Finally, we must be sure that we have no unforgiveness in our hearts. Unforgiveness is sin and the sin of unforgiveness blocks the Power of God in our lives.
The Lord reminded me to remind you of something of utmost importance in the following verse.
Galatians 5:6 (KJV)
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
As I have discussed many times faith and love (agapē) are inexorably linked. Our faith is no stronger than our love walk and our love walk no better than our faith (in God). Recall there are three major aspects of agapē (love), first is obedience to Scripture, second is a selfless life, and third is walking in Blood Covenant. The terminal phrase of this verse is “but faith which worketh by love” could rightly be translated as “but faith which worketh by obedience”. People including Christians are not big on obedience, or submission, but it is the only way to effective mountain moving faith.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Friday with more Golden Nuggets from the Throne.
By: Dr. David R. Wood, Author, Bible Teacher, and Prophetic Voice
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
