Welcome back to this wonderful and illuminating study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Sharing is so important is expands, extends, our reach with the Truth. The picture today is of Donna and me at Becky’s Diner in Portland Maine last November. Had a wonderful time with family. We were in Maine for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thought you folks who live in south Texas with us would like the sweater and jacket since we are now several days into 100+ degrees.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 45:8-11 (KJV)
8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
Today I will be dealing with verse eleven as we end the week at least concerning the study of Isaiah. Interestingly enough the number eleven in Bible terms has to do with being in alignment with God. Today’s study is going to make the religious devils really squeal so if you can’t handle the Truth stop right here. I do not teach tradition or the doctrines of demons. Many of you believe you are teaching or relying upon the Truth but in fact are repeating and relying upon the traditions of men or doctrines of demons which Jesus said was without power (Power of God). How much Power is present in your Church, in your life?
Luke 7:21-22 (KJV)
21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
Does this describe your Church services on a regular basis? Why not? When I hear someone say they had a wonderful service I am waiting to hear this. Guess how often I hear this? Zero! I also hear what a wonderful sermon was preached. In this case I am waiting to hear what was said that is causing a change bringing the person to be more like Jesus. Is our Lord actually asking us to ask about the future concerning the sons of God (to Prophesy) or to give commands to Him? Yes, certainly looks that way and is consistent with other Scriptures. Remember who has authority in the earth and the exercise of power (His Power) starts with the exercise of authority.

11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
The Hand of God is the Power of God, the Holy Spirit. Finally, what about this Scripture?
Mark 11:23 (KJV)
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
