Greetings to the precious saints of God, to those walking in love, living by faith, and led and taught of the Holy Spirit. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible expanding the reach of this Ministry. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture is to remind us all to pray for all of the seven mountains (gates, pillars) of our culture. This means to talk with God, search the Holy Scripture, find the will of God, decree the will of God, and do any further parts He gives as our responsibility. All is ours; we are not beggars, we have the authority in the earth, He has the Power, speak to the mountain. Then walk away, don’t keep commanding the mountain, that is a sign of unbelief, and don’t talk about the mountain. Talk about Gods’ answer to the mountain. Thank the Lord for dealing with mountain according to His Word and your words of authority in the earth.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text reading from the wonderful Book of Isaiah. Remember, continue to read out loud, you are reading out loud, right?
Isaiah 52:7-10 (KJV)
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
Today let’s start off the week with verse eight but first let’s look at it in the NIV translation.
Isaiah 52:8 (NIV)
8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.
Down through time there have been watchmen in every generation. In the ancient cities with walls around about they were positioned upon the walls such that they could see without and within. They could warm of problems in the city and problems coming to the city. Today we would see the watchmen positioned so as to see what is going on in the body of Christ and the threats to the body of Christ. Are we listening? As we prepare to close let’s look at the word watchmen in our text. It is the Hebrew word transliterated to English as Ṣāpâ meaning to lean forward, to peer into the distance; to observe, await, behold, and wait for according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. There is much that can be taught, said about this gift in the body of Christ, and for a nation. These men and women have eyes, physical and spiritual, to see dangers coming in the Church and from outside the Church. They will see from the earth or be with Christ when He comes again to earth at the end of the Great Tribulation. In Isaiah 62:6 we again see mention of the watchmen but it is a different word. The “watchmen” of Isaiah 52:8 see and tell but the “watchmen” of Isaiah 62:6 have a more aggressive role.
Isaiah 62:6-7 (KJV)
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
In this case it is the Hebrew word transliterated to English as Shāmar meaning to hedge about, guard; generally, to protect, attend to, beware of, be circumspect of, take heed, and preserve according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. These watchmen cry out day and night for the Lord to again make “Jerusalem a praise in the earth”. This of course happens at the end of the Tribulation. God will rule from the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and new earth.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. The Lord is good, nothing but good, never the author of suffering, and He cannot lie. The author of suffering (sickness, disease, poverty, etc.) is we ourselves, not God as many teach. God does not bring bad things into our lives to test us or to get glory. Give me a break!

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
