HE HAD DONE NO VIOLENCE
Video link
Greetings dear and precious saints and welcome back to our Study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. It is an encouragement to us when people share for it shows they value the teachings and believe others can as well.
The featured picture today displaying seven pillars represent the seven spheres of influence in our culture. These are present in Heaven and were given to mankind in the earth to bring structure and establish spheres of authority. It is important for each of us to determine, know which spheres we belong in and then exercise our responsibility to excel in those spheres. Pray for yourself and all in your spheres of influence especially those in authority.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (ESV)
1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,
2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in this wonderful Book of Isaiah. Please continue to read out loud, yes, out loud, you know why.
Isaiah 53:9-12 (KJV)
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
I will again pick up with verse nine of our primary text and review some things I hope you are already familiar with. When the body of Jesus was to be taken down from the Cross a certain rich man asked for the body of Jesus. The Jewish people especially the religious leaders were eager to get Him off the Cross and buried for it was a Sabbath Day, it was Passover.
Matthew 27:57-61 (ESV)
57 When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus.
58 He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him.
59 And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud
60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had cut in the rock. And he rolled a great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away.
61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb.
Did you notice that none of the remaining eleven disciples/Apostles of Jesus are mentioned. The Apostle John, I suspect took Mary the mother of Jesus home. Where are the others? They are hiding. An innocent man, a sinless man died upon that Cross bearing all of the sins of mankind. Let us reflect upon the following passage until we return tomorrow.
Hebrews 4:12-16 (KJV)
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember the Lord is nothing but good, full of mercy, and cannot lie.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
