MY KINDNESS SHALL NOT DEPART
Video Link: https://youtu.be/GOfIl8PXUDo
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this illuminating study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. The Lord is good to give us His Word so that we can walk in the light as He is in the light. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Sharing shows us that you value these teachings and this Ministry. The featured duck picture is provided by Marilyn Stevens who takes many wonderful wildlife picture and you see them often in these articles. Thank you so much Marilyn.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 54:10-14 (KJV)
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
This particular chapter in the Bible, as are many others, has many verses that are quoted commonly to encourage and help increase faith. All too many times these verses are taken in isolation as if they are a promise that is to manifest automatically. Nothing could be further from the Truth. Let me lay out a very basic pattern of God. God makes things available. We have to make them ours. It will always involve a condition of our heart (free from doubt), the words of our mouth, and many times a corresponding actions. Then and only then the promise is a manifest reality. An example I have used over and over is salvation. Salvation is available to all but we are not all saved automatically. When we take the following action, we are saved.
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Once this is done, that very millisecond, we are saved by Grace.
Ephesians 2:5 (KJV)
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
God made it available; we didn’t know we needed salvation (John 3:16). When we did what He could not (Romans 10:9), He did what we could not (Ephesians 2:5). This is basically how everything works in the Kingdom of God. Now, let’s make verse ten our very own.
Isaiah 54:10 (KJV)
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
In spite of conditions, we have a hard time to imagine of mountains departing and hills being removed the LORD assures us that we can walk in His manifest kindness, His peace, and His mercy.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember the Lord loves you; He has a wonderful life for you if you so choose, and He cannot lie.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
