BOLDNESS
Monday – February 26, 2018

Welcome back to this wonderful, faith building Bible Study taken from the Book of Hebrews. These Words of God, like the remainder of the Bible, when heard, received, and valued above all else will form a bedrock of faith. That faith coupled with the Anointing upon us will bring the Garden of Eden back into our individual lives to be a witness to others. Let’s reject that poor, sick, and suffering teaching we hear from every side and embrace our redemption from the curse, the victory of Calvary. Read aloud the following primary text for our study.
Hebrews 10:18-22 (KJV)
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
I ended last week with verse eighteen. Eighteen is the number of bondage, we were in bondage to the enemy and we desperately needed a remission of our sin opening the way back to God. So now I will move forward into the faith verse, verse number nineteen. All that we do in the Kingdom of God to be successful must be by faith. As we examine verse nineteen eagerly with the intent to receive it in fullness and walk in it without fear or unbelief let’s focus on the word “boldness”. According to the Complete Word Study Dictionary this translation is derived from a Greek word meaning to speak boldly or freely. Synonyms include; persuasion, assurance, confidence; manifestly, openly, in a straight manner, courage, and without fear. Fear sets in when we do not truly believe the Word of God or don’t believe He will do it for us. When we don’t believe the love of God (which is obedience to His Own Words) we have chosen instead to receive and believe the words of the world, the devils. We must practice identifying the lies of the enemy and cast them out of our thinking immediately. Above all do not be deceived into thinking that you will not hear the traditions of men or the doctrine of demons at Church, this is the devils best ground for deception. Perhaps you have found out that God wants you healthy and the enemy comes immediately to steal that Word of God. Perhaps the devil tells you that you probably don’t qualify after all look at your past and that temper flare or brief episode of lust last week. He may say; “who do you think you are? You are not worthy of God’s healing”! Be assured that if you are diligently seeking after God you are healed. God has healed lots of imperfect people. You think all of those people that came to Jesus were saints of the highest order? They were not even saved but they believed on Jesus’ message, the good news of the Kingdom. They believed He had the Anointing that could make them whole and thousands were made whole because of the Anointing on Him (same as on you) and their faith.
We have spent much time studying the sacrificial laws of the Old Covenant and the functions of the High Priest. These foreshadowed the Sacrifice who became our High Priest, Christ Jesus. Jesus paid the price and tore down the separation between us and God, the veil between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. The veil represented sinful flesh and Jesus paid the price of sin making us righteous who receive Him and therefore we are pure as He is pure and therefore can freely and boldly enter the Most Holy Place. In our text the Most Holy Place is referred to as “the holiest”. The Most Holy Place or “the holiest” place is where the Covenant is located, the Mercy Seat, the Throne of God, and most importantly the Blood of Jesus, the Christ.
Hebrews 6:18-20 (KJV)
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
As you read this preceding passage keep in mind that we are laying aside the thoughts and concepts of the world. Hope in the world is a maybe it will happen and maybe it will not happen. In the Kingdom of God, the promises of God, the hope set before us, is secure and sure. When we are born again we don’t just come to the Throne of Grace, in Him we are on the Throne of Grace. Not only has the veil been torn asunder (Church word of torn apart) but the whole Tent of Meeting is torn down and God is among the people. He tabernacles with those (lives in) who will receive Him as Lord but He is very close to all. As we finish for today let’s take a few moments and meditate the following most wonderful Scriptures.
Romans 3:21-22 (AMP)
21 But now the righteousness of God has been revealed independently and altogether apart from the Law, although actually it is attested by the Law and the Prophets,
22 Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction,
Romans 10:8-10 (KJV)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Righteousness or right standing with God is available to all, a split second away for all who will believe. Christ Jesus is that new and living way through the veil into the most holy place. We do not come and go from the Most Holy Place, we are perpetually in the Most Holy Place, our feet are always on holy ground. We are always in the presence of God, we do not come and go, neither does He come and go. Thank you, Jesus, for taking my sin in your flesh paying the full penalty of my sin, all sin. Now in you Lord Jesus, I and whosoever will can boldly entered into the most holy place.
Until our next publication, I speak blessing into your life right now, receive it in the name of Jesus, confess it, and walk it out with thanksgiving.
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
