LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART THIRTY-NINE

TIME FRAME SIX
THE CATCHING AWAY TO THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Greeting fellow sojourners in Christ Jesus and welcome back to this mind stretching study of “Life in Heaven”. As you consider these things never forget that we have the mind of Christ, we are unlimited in what God wants us to know and what we are capable of knowing. It is acquired by faith, diligence in study and prayer (talking to God).
1 Corinthians 2:16 (KJV)

Dear brother and sister we are a very blessed and privileged people unlike any before from the Garden of Eden until the Day of Pentecost of Acts chapter two. We are only scratching around on the surface of what Jesus paid for and what He has made available to us right now in the earth! Church of the living God awake, arise, and walk in triumph! Okay, now back to our study of “Life in Heaven”. I hope you kept the fire extinguisher and the water buckets for today’s teaching. As you will recall I am now teaching about the sixth of eight time-frames God gave me for organizing the teachings. The eight time-frames are as follows.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
Last week (Sunday) I dealt with the issue or conundrum of matching the time-frames of the three fall Feasts of the Lord with the events of the Second Coming of Christ Jesus. As I have reviewed many times before the four spring feasts align perfectly with the First Coming of Christ so it is logical that the three fall feasts fit the Second Coming of Christ.
Now, buckle your seatbelt. Is it possible for a person in Heaven to sin? I suspect the horrified response of most people was a resounding, no! I also suspect that idea has never crossed your mind. Let me shift the weight to you, why can’t a person sin who is in Heaven? When our physical body dies or we are caught up in the Rapture do we lose free will? Is there any available evidence that any living creature (not plants or inanimate things) lacks free will? If we conclude that freewill is intact in Heaven what would prevent sin? Perhaps one is thinking that there is no deceiver in Heaven therefore no temptation to sin. Who deceived Lucifer? It is NEVER the plan or will of God for any creature whether it be Lucifer or Adam to sin. God did not devise some elaborate plan for any of the angelic hosts to sin nor did He make sin inevitable for Adam, Eve, or any that were to follow. That would be like us planning a life of sin, sickness, and failure for our own children. Is our God evil? When Lucifer sinned, it was the sin of pride and he had no deceiver therefore it was willful sin fully in the light. The sin of Lucifer was without remedy since it was self-deception in fulness of light without an external deceiver with no mediator or Savior. Just imagine the things Lucifer had seen over the time (who knows, perhaps the equivalent of billions of years) from His creation until sin was found in him. Lucifer was witnessing all that God was and was doing first hand.
It is possible for us to live a sinless life in this life just as Jesus lived a sinless earthly life. Never forget, what He did we are (shall do) to do and even greater things. It seems to me that it will be possible for us to choose sin in Heaven. The consequences for us however may be different than with Lucifer. We have Jesus, we have the Word and we have the Blood forever, and we have Jesus as an intercessor and High Priest. Repentance and forgiveness will be available to us, these were not available to Lucifer for obvious reasons (not in the image and likeness of God, no basis for repentance, no shed Blood, no intercessor/High Priest). Our basis of repentance is in Scripture which stands forever.

As usual I did not get near as far in our study as I had hoped however Lord willing, I will pick up with our study right here next Sunday. I pray you are excited, stimulated, provoked, and caused to get out of the box you have been living in.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
