TIME FRAME SIX
THE CATCHING AWAY TO THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Greetings dear saints of God and greetings if you are not yet a saint of God and welcome to this fascinating and imagination provoking study of “Life in Heaven”. I sure hope you enjoy reading and reflecting on these teachings as much as I enjoy writing them, they seem to flow without effort, God is in it. He wants our imaginations to go into all the wonderful things He desires to take us. If we can imagine it, it is possible, God has no limits, we in Him have no limits. Let that God given imagination soar, let go of the reins! We have that full capacity by the Spirit of God, this is a wonderful capacity if we receive in fullness when we believe and take the corresponding actions. Let us soar with our God. He has wanted to do this from the creation dear bother and sister. Unfortunately, all too commonly the response is; “well I don’t know about that brother”. Well, now, let’s shift gears and get back to where I left off last Sunday. As a reminder recall that we are in the sixth time-period and I will continue.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
We have been reviewing the great battle of Armageddon which is also associated with the Second Coming of Christ. The Second Coming of Christ is a separate and distinct event from the Rapture or Catching Away of the saints (you and me) and the associated Resurrection (second wave of the dead). At this great battle of Armageddon, the Jewish people will look upon Jesus and repent. They will mourn and God according to His covenant with them will take away all of their sin. Jesus will set up His Throne in Jerusalem for what is called the Millennial Reign of Christ. King David will actually sit on the Throne in Jerusalem as the King of Israel and Jesus will sit upon His Throne as King of His people and over all the peoples of the earth.
Zechariah 12:10 (KJV)
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Our Lord is so wonderful and merciful dear ones. After this administration of justice upon Israel and upon the world there will be a reconstituting of Israel and every Jew of the remnant left will recognize Jesus as the Messiah, repent, and be redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony.
Romans 11:26-27 (KJV)
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Okay, back to “Life in Heaven”. We, the Ekklesia (also spelled ecclesia), have been brought into Heaven, those who were resurrected and those of us who were alive upon the earth. Can you imagine that day especially for those of who were alive at His coming?
1 John 3:2 (KJV)
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Suddenly our curse ravaged body will be like His in an instant of time. There will be differences in the appearance of Jesus and our appearance. Please do not get the idea that we all look alike in Heaven, we will no more look alike in Heaven than we do today in the earth. We will all have our distinguishing features. Our spiritual body is now (born again persons) and will eternally be in the image and likeness of God. Our physical body will be perfect, glorious, like that of Jesus at His Resurrection. Oh, what a day! There will a distinguishing between persons with regard to rank like in the armed forces. Our rank, standing in the Kingdom, is directly proportional to our obedience to the Word, and the still small voice. You see rank is not dependent upon being seen on the world stage or even the stage or our local Church but obedience to what God gave for us to do. Remember Christ Jesus is King of kings, and He is The High Priest. We are kings and we are priests and will have those markings but of a lesser rank. He is the Son of man and so are all of us sons of man. He is the Son of God (first, unique, and now fully God and fully man) and we are sons of God. So, let us look at this picture of Jesus as if looking in the mirror.
Revelation 1:13-15 (KJV)
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
