LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART FIFTY-EIGHT

TIME FRAME EIGHT
ETERNITY FUTURE
Greeting dear friends and partners of Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. and The Three Minute Word publication and the current Sunday series “Life in Heaven”. God is so good, Heaven is not a black box known only to those who have gone but it is very much a known quantity for those who remain and are serious about the Word, diligent in meditation. I will say it again, God is not hiding anything from His children, period. Let’s review the eight time-frames God gave me to teach about then dive back into our study of the eighth time-frame “Eternity Future”.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
Right at the beginning of this time-frame we see a new heaven and a new earth which by the way seems to refer only to the atmospheric envelop about the earth and the earth itself. I wonder why there is an atmospheric envelop about the earth? Is there an atmosphere in Heaven? Do the people taken alive, whole, to Heaven (Enoch and Elijah) and later the resurrected Old Testament saints need oxygen in Heaven? Were Enoch and Elijah given uncorrupted bodies upon translation to Heaven? If so, how were they able to be killed (two witnesses – Revelation 11)? Spirits don’t need an atmosphere but what about the resurrected body, the new body like unto the one Jesus now has? Are these glorified, uncorrupted bodies somehow different and don’t require oxygen? Was the atmosphere about the earth created before Adam there because Adam needed it or was it created in case of the fall? Bottom line is this, I do not believe our new resurrected uncorrupted bodies require an atmosphere so what is with the new heaven? Could it be that another fall (sin) is possible and the atmosphere would be required again? What would that look like and would a redemptive mechanism restoring all things as we see in this study be available? I don’t have definitive or high probability answers to these questions but they are interesting to ponder. I have not talked with God and waited upon Him to give me answers but they are available, we have the mind of Christ. Always be cognizant of the fact that we are eternal creations as are the angels with freewill.
The new earth is because our uncorrupted body is of the earth just as Adam’s body was of the earth and for that matter Jesus’ body in the womb of Mary and now in Heaven. Being of the earth imparts citizenship and authority in the earth. This is the legal basis of Jesus ruling in the earth during the one-thousand-year reign. Like Jesus we are also of Heaven giving Him and us authority and citizenship in Heaven. Our citizenship in Heaven as children of God is superior (spiritual always superior to the natural) to our earthly citizenship. Now I’ll get back to what happens just before the new heaven and the new earth of Revelation 21:1. Carefully review the following Bible text.
2 Peter 3:5-11 (KJV)
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
This present earth as we know it will indeed pass away due to a great heat, not global warming, as will the envelope about the earth and the second heaven or outer space. We will all be in Heaven during the cleansing and creation of this new earth and a new heaven, atmospheric envelop about the earth. This passage gives a history of this earth. Verse five is talking about the earth we see in Genesis 1:2, verse six is the flood of Noah, and verse seven has to do with the final judgment of demonic powers and the cleansing of the curse from all creation and there is a new creation (Revelation 21:1 like Genesis 1:1).
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
