LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART FIFTY-NINE

TIME FRAME EIGHT
ETERNITY FUTURE
Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to this very fascinating and instructive teaching on Life in Heaven. I have raised many interesting ideas that perhaps some have discarded. Perhaps these ideas were not seen as true to the Bible, or even personal beliefs about Heaven. I have made every effort to present this information in line with the full counsel of Scripture. It is my belief that we know a lot more about Heaven than what is presented on the average Sunday morning and that the diverseness of Heaven, the Kingdom of God, reaches into infinity. Even in it’s current fallen state the things of this earth are an accurate but faint view of Heaven. As we go forward let’s first review the eight time-frames the Lord gave into which to divide this study.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
I am currently dealing with eternity future; this is the eternal time-frame at least from our current view that starts with the eternal judgment of the devil, the beast, and the false prophet.
Revelation 20:7-10 (KJV)
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
At the beginning of this time-frame is also the time of the final judgement of all those whose names are not found in the Lamb’s book of life. This the Great White Throne Judgment.
Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Immediately after these things we have found that this current creation in its entirety will be destroyed with fire, the fire of the Holy Spirit eliminating all traces of sin and the curse. Then there is a wonderful new creation.
Revelation 21:1 (KJV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
The phrase “new heaven” is singular in number unlike the word ‘heaven’ in Genesis 1:1 which is plural. So initially there will be a single heaven which is the atmospheric envelope about the earth. One might again wonder why a gaseous atmospheric envelope is needed for the new earth. By the way, the gender of heaven is masculine (seed for mankind, for the earth) whereas it is feminine for earth. This would give us to think that there will be a productivity available in the new earth with the right seed, which is the Word of God. The atmospheric envelop on the other hand is a seed or is present to allow another to thrive or fulfill its purpose. What I am developing here is that we are coming, God is coming, full circle back to the Garden of Eden. First let us think for a moment who is on the earth and who is in Heaven, the new earth and the new Heaven. As we contemplate this let’s also review and meditate the following passage.
Revelation 21:2-3 (KJV)
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
One might conclude that even though the Holy City, the New Jerusalem is becoming a part of the earth we also hear a great voice out of Heaven. The Heaven spoken of here is presumably the abode of God currently. So, at this stage, what we call outer space is absent with two heavens present, the abode of God (commonly called the third heaven) and the atmospheric envelop about the earth (first heaven). Could it be that the New Jerusalem is the core of present day Heaven or does God create a New Jerusalem for Himself and others? I will pick up right here next Sunday which will also conclude this Sunday series. I am looking to make this into a book soon.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
