BE GLAD AND REJOICE

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this illuminating and empowering study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. We are such a loved and blessed peoples. It is in many ways beyond the scope of our current languages in the earth to describe His love, His blessing, His goodness (glory) towards all, especially those of the household of faith. Dear ones when we were born again, we changed kingdoms and we are no longer to live by the dictates of the world. We have different laws, obligations and benefits the world does not and cannot enjoy. The featured picture today is of the State House, Capitol building in Austin Texas. This of course is to remind us to pray for our government, all that are in authority. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 65:17-20 (KJV)
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
Warning, this teaching is quite lengthy due to a lot of Scripture but well worth the time. Rejoice as you read! Last week I left off talking about the new heavens and the new earth that comes at the end of all things as it relates to the present creation. Oh, what a day, and we are to be first hand witness of this cataclysmic and wonderful event. First the destruction of the current corrupted creation.
2 Peter 3:10-13 (KJV)
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
This is all going away, let us enjoy the natural things of life, but focus and live our lives in the eternal. A pure and glorious new heavens and earth are on the way, soon. No more tears, no more death, no more pain, all passed away.
Revelation 21:1-4 (KJV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
What a glorious place this new earth will be, God with us.
Revelation 21:22-27 (KJV)
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
No more curse!
Revelation 22:1-5 (KJV)
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
