PHYSICAL REFLECTING THE THEOLOGICAL

Welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries and a reflection upon the question; What Should The Church Look Like? This study has been persistent in my thoughts for several months right along with questions about the feminization of the Church. I have already published my thoughts, Scripture thoughts, on the feminization of the Church. That study was published on the 5th of January 2025 under the title “The Seed of Satan is Flourishing in the Church”. As I talked to the Lord about this question of what the Church should look like, His response was, like The Tabernacle in the wilderness. This is a multipart study, so let’s dive in.
Over the past several months the Lord has brought back to my thinking the question, “what should the Church look like?”. At the same time the other idea or question recurring in my thoughts had to do with the feminization of the Church. I have written about and published a teaching video on YouTube about the feminization of the Church on the 5th of January 2025 titled “The Seed of Satan Is Flourishing In The Church”. If the predominate or controlling influence in the Church is female than the appearance of the Church physically and theologically will reflect that dominate influence. Today’s teaching is focusing on the physical aspects of the Church but overall, this study will focus on the theological message of the Church. The message projected from driving into the parking lot to exiting the building.
What should the regulars and the visitors see upon entering the Church? They should see Jesus, the way of salvation. When I say the “way of salvation” I am speaking of all that is available with salvation not just the avoidance of Hell. Jesus, the Father, have freely given us cleansing from sin allowing one to one fellowship, eternal life, freedom from the Law of Sin and Death, and prosperity spirit, soul, and body in every arena of life. The Lord told me that the Church should look like The Tabernacle. I did not hear an audible voice but a voice much like my own (thought) but with a knowing it was not me but the Lord. This could be very lengthy teaching, but I will give you what the Lord gives me for the purpose of this teaching. I will now briefly consider the physical aspects of the building in which saints and the presaved meet to learn how to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and come to repentance for things contrary to God. The Church building is not the only place this can occur, but it is a major place. It is a place not only for learning and practicing spiritual gifts but to minister by the leadership of the Holy Spirit one to another.
This building should be the most beautiful building in the city or town. It should be a place that people enjoy riding by and visitors to the area have on their list of things to do. This should be a building and grounds that people seek to tour, and tours are offered. More than likely, although your Church building may be nice, does this really describe it? Do you even think this way? When did we lose our way? In the beginning governments would raid the Church Treasury for the Church was more prosperous than the government.
TAKE HOME:
- The building within which the Church meets should be a showcase of God’s goodness to the community and other Christians.
- The building should be a testimony of the reality of God’s promises, prosperity of every kind.
- When did it become fashionable, desirable, the will of God to be poor and the Devil to have the best of everything?
