BY THE BREAD OF LIFE, BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, WE OBTAINED ETERNAL LIFE

Welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries and our continuing reflection upon the question; What Should The Church Look Like? This study has been persistent in my thoughts for several months right along with questions about the feminization of the Church. I have already published my thoughts, Scripture thoughts, on the feminization of the Church. That study was published on the 5th of January 2025 under the title “The Seed of Satan is Flourishing in the Church”. As I talked to the Lord about this question of what the Church should look like, His response was, like The Tabernacle in the wilderness. This is a multipart study, so let’s dive in.
I will pick up again where we left off yesterday, discussing the furniture of the Holy Place. We were discussing the Shewbread upon the table of Shewbread. Jesus was born in Bethlehem which means house of bread. The table is made from shittim wood which is a thorny tree and presents the scourging and crown of thorns placed upon our Redeemers back and head. The same wood is used throughout including the Alter of Burnt Offerings. The table is overlaid with pure gold representing purity. His sacrifice brought redemption of the body and life for the spirit of man. By His strips we were healed both spirit and body.
1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
One day we will have a glorious body like unto the one Christ Jesus now has, and we have inherited eternal life as well.
1 Corinthians 15:52-54 (KJV)
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Philippians 3:20-21 (KJV)
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
This is certainly a part of the hope of His calling that we find in the following Scripture.
Ephesians 1:17-19 (KJV)
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
TAKE HOME:
- By the strips upon the Bread of Life we obtained righteousness, the washing away of sin, and by those strips we were healed spiritually and physically. That healing is not automatic, it must be received.
- The redemption of our bodies means that we will one day be transformed physically receiving a body like unto Christ, immortal, incorruptible. O what a day!
- Let us pursue the enlightenment of the hope of His calling. It is all found prophetically in the Tabernacle.
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
