GIFTS – PART TWENTY-FIVE

Greetings to our dear and wonderful friends and partners of this Ministry. God is so good and He is doing some wonderful things in us and through us, through this Ministry. I have to say it again, our God is so, so, good! Thank you for rejoining this Friday series titled “Gifts”, gifts of God. Now to our study of “Gifts”. We are unable to obtain these gifts on our own, we are totally dependent upon His mercy, loving kindness, and grace (Grace). God has chosen us; He has chosen you and loves you with all of His heart (beyond human comprehension) and He has chosen me and my precious Donna. It brings me to tears of thanksgiving and gratitude. Our God is so good and wants and plans nothing but good for us His precious children just like we plan nothing but good for our natural children.
I am several months into this teaching on “Gifts” and as instructed of the Holy Spirit have been talking about the first and essential gift of salvation. More accurately I have been dealing with the legal foundation necessary before the Messiah could come into the earth. Contrary to popular belief (myth), God does not just do anything He wants when He wants. He established laws (spiritual and natural) and He abides within those. He will not violate them and the devil cannot violate them and neither can we. First among them is that we are freewill creatures and second, we have delegated authority in the earth (not God). This has got to slow God down something terrible. I know that perhaps at times we think we are the most amazing children God has in the earth, but really, lets all of us not get into condemnation, but let’s take an inventory. Does my life look like a field of victory or more like someone has been playing with hand grenades in my life? Dear ones we are not called to suffer the curse (financial lack, broken bodies, or any other part of the curse) but the abundance Jesus came to give us. We will suffer testing (temptation) by our mortal spiritual enemies and persecution, but not any of the curse. Our spiritual enemies cannot cause us to do anything (and God will not) he must deceive us into doing it ourselves. If you found the curse (read Deuteronomy 28) in your life get your shield of faith up, get out the sword of the Spirit, put the helmet of salvation back on, declare and put back on the breastplate of righteousness, gird up your loins with Truth, get back on the gospel of peace (shoes), and talk to the Lord about His effective battle strategy for you. He made us the victor from the foundation of the world. Now back to Abraham and the legal foundation laid to bring the Messiah into the earth.
Genesis 22:17-19 (KJV)
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
You will recall that Abram and Sarai came from Ur of the Chaldees on instruction from God to the “Promised Land”, Canaan Land. Like some of us (probably all of us) they didn’t do it exactly the way God said and they didn’t do it promptly. Sarai is barren (Genesis 11:30) and they especially Abram wants a son desperately. We see the beginnings of God making a Covenant and then a Blood Covenant with Abram starting in Genesis Chapter Twelve. In Genesis chapter fifteen we find a Blood Covenant being put in place between Abram, his seed, the Word, the Holy Spirit, and the Father. Abram and Sarai become impatient in chapter sixteen and birth an Ishmael. However, in chapter seventeen God changes Abram’s name to Abraham (father of a multitude) and Sarai’s to Sarah (princes the mother of nations and kings) and they come into faith (Abraham age 99) and Isaac the son of promise is born.
That brought us to Genesis chapter twenty-two and the testing of the Blood Covenant of Genesis chapter fifteen. If you have not been following this series, I strongly advise that you go back and start at the beginning, the Lord has opened a very rich treasury to us. This account and every account in the Bible is to give us insight into our Heavenly Father, His thoughts, His Words, and His ways and what ours are to be. What an awesome God we serve and believe it or not you are to be awesome as well. Verse seventeen of our text above is God telling Abraham some of the wonderful consequences of his obedience since he stepped into fullness of faith for Isaac in Genesis 17:17. Just think about the Biblical Numerology of this Genesis 17:17 reference. Genesis being the first Book of the Bible is number one indicating unity with God. When we declare the promise of God in faith, we are in unity with Him and it will take place, no if ands or buts (2 Cor 1:20). In this case his declaration of faith brought the child of promise, Isaac, and through Him came not only the Jewish peoples but The Seed, Christ Jesus, the Messiah. The number seventeen is the number of victory and it is repeated, the number two, the number of Jesus the Messiah. Unity with God the Father brought victory through the Messiah for all mankind! Wow! Thank you, Lord!
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
