A WELL OF TRUTH
AS THE MASTER – PART TWO
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners of this Ministry, Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. Welcome back to “A Well of Truth”. Before I delve back into our topic “As the Master”, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the gospel, the Truth. It has always been imperative that we know and do the Truth and that has not changed in the millennia since the creation, since Christ. The will of God is unchanging from creation to this very moment and forever. Our topic being “As the Master” is referring to Jesus and His Ministry in the earth. Most people do not believe that we can be as Jesus the man in His Ministry in the earth. In fact, many don’t even believe that Jesus became as an Anointed man operating as a man and not God in the earth. However, that is not what the Bible says about both these Truths, and the Bible is our source of Truth. Listen to Jesus (you are reading out loud, right?) in the following verse.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus, the Head of the Church, says that if we believe on Him, we are commanded to do the works He did and even greater works. The condition is believing on Him, being fully persuaded, and the command (not a suggestion) is to do what He did and greater works than He did in His earthly Ministry. Why? He has gone to the Father and once again has given us His full authority and the Blessing to back it up according to His will. Has this Truth been stolen from you? Some do not believe we once again walk in the delegated authority of God, but that all authority rests with Jesus. There is no question He is the Head but the whole person, Head and body, have the same authority. We are in Christ Jesus and are joint-heirs, participants in common, in all things. The will of God is unchanging, it did not change with the Book of Acts or any other place in Scripture.
Malachi 3:6 (KJV)
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. (Bold added)
The person of Jesus has existed from time and eternity and Scripture tells us that He is the same always.
Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Bold added)
Now, let’s explore the origin of our authority (dominion) in the earth and the extent of our authority. Last week we reviewed the authority (dominion) given to man, which is absolute in the earth and backed by the Blessing (Power of God). Today let’s move to the following passage as regards our authority in Christ Jesus. Before that passage let me make a statement that may really ruffle some religious feathers quite badly. God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, can do nothing in us, in the earth that we do not first speak, give permission, into the earth. It is not that they don’t have the Power, they certainly do, they don’t have the authority, and they will not break their own laws.
Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The word “power” in verse eighteen in verse eighteen is authority or power and thus people take this verse pointing and saying; “see all authority rests with Jesus and not us”. However, we have already studied (last week) that all authority (dominion) was given to mankind in the beginning and the will of God does not change, period. So, like so many verses in Scripture this verse cannot be looked at in isolation but in context and in light of the whole of Scripture, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Notice the very next verse commands us to take that authority (Power of Attorney) and go. We do all in the name of Jesus.
Colossians 3:17 (KJV)
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
He has given us a Power of Attorney to use His name. We speak with the same authority as if He was speaking it. Doesn’t this sound like John 14:12 in that, I’m going to the Father, you are here in the earth, and you are to carry on where I left off.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
