A WELL OF TRUTH
DO WE BELIEVE JOHN 14:12? – PART THREE
Greetings dear and precious saints in the Kingdom of God and welcome to this Bible Study titled “A WELL OF TRUTH”. I pray that the Lord gives me His utterance and all that I write is error free, rightly dividing the Word of God. This study is named “A Well of Truth” for I am but one distributor of God’s Truth, the Bible is the source of all Truth. Those of you who may be reading this but are not yet saints in the Kingdom of God take the best step you will ever take in your life and be saved.
Romans 10:9-13 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Welcome to the Kingdom of God, God is now your Father, Jesus your Savior, and the Holy Spirit your Helper. You have left the darkness of the kingdom of this world and instantly entered the Kingdom of Light, Heaven is now your home, Hell was your former home. Now let the Holy Spirit who is within you and the Holy Word of God guide you in all things. Before we shift gears and delve into our topic for this week, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing, the Word of God is the only source of Truth, and you cannot tell anyone any better news than the Word of God.
I am continuing with the teaching; “Do We Believe John 14:12?” now on Part Three. I hope that many of you know this verse without having to look it up. It is a verse I have taught on and around for years. This is not happening in the Church at large either corporately or individually. When a command of the Master, a command of Scripture, is not being followed we must repent, and ask why.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Have you given full attention as to how this verse ends? Why are we to do the works He did and greater works? He has gone to the Father and He has left us in the earth to duplicate Him and go beyond to the greater works. Those who are saved are believers which is to say that we have believed on Jesus Christ making Him our Lord in place of lord Satan. If one is not serving the Lord, following after Scripture hard, you are serving the lord of this world which is Satan and his ways which are death. There is no such thing as we are just doing our own thing, we are either doing Gods’ thing or Satan’s thing. There is not such thing as closing our eyes in death and that being the end of it. We all, saved and unsaved, are eternal being with an eternal consciousness. Will that be spent in Heaven with the most opulent surroundings and the most satisfying work or in unimaginable torment for rejecting the Son of God? The choice is ours; the right answer seems so overwhelmingly obvious to me now on this side of my saying yes to the Lord but there was a time I ran just like you. As the Lord presented our main topic to me and I presented to a local Church I started with the question; do we believe we can be just like Jesus?
Luke 6:40 (KJV)
40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
Apparently, Jesus thinks we can be just like Him. Is this Bible, is this true? The word “perfect” in the preceding verse means mature, completely His. Consider the following verse from the Old Covenant in this light.
2 Chronicles 16:9 (KJV)
9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
The phrase “whose heart is perfect toward him” means that our heart is completely His. Notice it says that He, the Lord, will show Himself strong on behalf of those who are completely His. I am sad to say, most of us profess to be completely His but it is obvious we are not. Am I, are you, having wars and losing?

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
