A WELL OF TRUTH
PEACE OF GOD – PART SIX

Greetings precious children and sons of the Almighty God and welcome back to our discussion of peace, ours and His. Before I proceed, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible expanding the reach of the good news. God is so good to give us His Word in detail so that we can have a victorious life, day in and day out. It is not the will of God for us to intermittently have our brains knocked out and before we fully recover get knocked up side the head by the devil again. We are to withstand and send the devils fleeing with every attempt to deceive us and keep walking straight ahead with the Grace (Favor) of God around and before us. Where is our heart, where is our focus? The goal of darkness is to keep us distracted and in chaos until we die. In that way we accomplish little to nothing for the Kingdom of God. It is essential that we remain focused on the Kingdom of God and that be first place at all times. The storms will come but we will either calm them or walk straight through untouched. Fear, unbelief (not trusting God) lets the storm in, love and faith keep the storm out and the devil must flee. The following Scripture dovetails right into our study of peace.
Isaiah 26:3-4 (KJV)
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
Our part is to be focused on Him and to trust Him. God sees the heart so He knows if we are just talking the religious lines we have been taught or if we are functioning from the heart in faith powered by love. When our peace (fruit of our spirit) is turned to max as the situation requires and is still a short the Lord steps in with His peace and we sail forth in victory. I am now going to introduce another facet to the mix of our subject of peace. Peace is essential to the Kingdom of God.
Romans 14:17 (KJV)
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
The Kingdom of God is not natural or of this world but is spiritual and in the Holy Spirit. When we are born again the Holy Spirit (Ghost) comes to quicken (make alive) our dead spirit and resides within us. God communicates with our spirit which then communicates with our mind (not our brain which is physical). I have mentioned in a prior teaching that there are three main pillars of the Kingdom of God, two of which are also mentioned as fruit of the spirit as well. Could it be that the remaining seven fruits of the spirit are the components of righteousness? Yes, I believe so. What we are able to accomplish for the Kingdom is directly related to the development of the fruits of our spirit. Each of the fruits of our spirit operates exactly like peace. When we are doing our part fully, He will make up the difference. There are times when being kind or gentle is not what we want in the natural but is demanded for the Kingdom of God. If we humble ourselves, give ourselves an attitude adjustment, and step out by faith into kindness and gentleness the Lord will make up the difference. We have a really good God, over the top good.
Before we finish with peace and the Kingdom of God, I want to address the thought some may have had that this Kingdom is purely spiritual. Nothing could be further from the Truth. Anything, all things manifested in this physical realm (the spiritual realm as well) starts off as spiritual whether it be good or bad. Thoughts and words are spiritual and emanate from the heart (spiritual) and out the mouth (physical). Listen to the Savior and our King and Lord.
Matthew 12:34-35 (KJV)
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
When we see good things and when we see bad (evil) things in our lives we need look any further than our mouths. So, thinking in terms of peace. If a man or woman’s heart is full of peace displacing all fear, uproar, anxiety, their mouth will speak peace and peace will be produced around them. People will flock to people walking in peace. We are not talking about someone who is appearing or acting peaceful but some one who is at peace and producing peace all around them. The natural and spiritual atmosphere being permeated with peace. Let’s consider the following two verses and then we are done for today.
Matthew 10:13 (KJV)
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Mark 5:34 (KJV)
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
Remember that peace as a fruit of the spirit is a powerful force that when released brings Heaven to earth. Peace is a joining with God in direction and purpose. It is being a partaker in His prosperity. We are joint-heirs. When do you suppose He ever ran out? Did we see that in His earthly ministry? When we enter peace, we are whole spirit, soul, and body. We have a quietness, a tranquility that can only come when we know that in Jesus, in God, we are impervious to the assaults of the enemy. We must know and exercise the knowledge that we operate in the same provision He operates with. Remember when Jesus said He could call twelve legions of angels. What about us? Finally, but far from least we are one with Him. One with Him so long as we think His thoughts, talk His talk, and walk His walk. Otherwise the enemy gets through our hedge, it came down in our disobedience, and we start experiencing the curse.
Lord willing next week I will pick up with a new topic.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
