FRIDAY NUGGETS
FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT – PEACE – TO BE SET AT ONE AGAIN

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and those who are not yet saints. Become a saint today if you are not, simply repeat the following verse putting it in the first person and in your own hearing.
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Simply say out loud: I declare Jesus as Lord of my life and I believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead, I receive salvation, I am saved. Welcome to the Light, the Kingdom of God. Send us your testimony. As I move forward, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing.
Now, let’s move to our primary text for the study of the fruits of the spirit. Today I will be continuing our study of the fruit of peace. However much I have to say about peace there will be much left to be said. Please continue to read out loud.
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
This week I will pick up with the sixth and final aspect of the spiritual fruit of peace, to be set at one again, a fruit of our spirit. Our peace is a duplicate albeit undeveloped of the Fathers’. From our primary text the Greek word transliterated to English as peace is eirēnē meaning (to join), prosperity, one, quietness, rest, and to be set at one again (with God) according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Last Friday I finished on the topic of rest as a part of peace. Today I will finish with peace for this study but know we are far from done. The sixth aspect of the peace of God given us and has been a part of our spirit from the beginning is being set at one again. This simply means and is telling us that we are or may become one with God once again. Remember how Jesus prayed for this.
John 17:21-22 (KJV)
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Notice the phrase in the twenty-first verse “that they also may be one in us”. Just as Jesus and the Father are one, we in Christ Jesus are one with Him and with the Father. To be one with the Father and with Jesus we must be on the same page with regard to direction, purpose, and methods. This brings us to a most amazing Scripture.
John 17:23 (KJV)
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Did you notice that Jesus did not pray or ask the Father to love us as the Father loved Him but said that He already loved us just like He loved Jesus. Wow! I hope we have all come to see that this word peace, this fruit of our spirit which originated in the Father, is more than a nice greeting. It is a pronouncement of great promise that can revolutionize and exponentially improve our life if received, believed, and acted upon. Now, with what we have learned think about what is being said and bestowed in the following verses.
Luke 10:5-6 (KJV)
5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
The son of peace referred to is one who serves and honors God. One translation says if there is someone there who is worthy which would be a child of God. At a minimum tranquility will rule in this house, there will be an increase in prosperity, and there will be an increase in the flow of the rest (provision) of God. All by knowledge in the Truth.
Lord willing, I will pick up next week with the spiritual fruit of long-suffering (patience).

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
