AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

BELIEVERS MINISTRY – PART FIVE
THE UPSIDE-DOWN CHURCH
Greetings dear and precious saints of God, it is 2023, and we are well into the New Year. Another Thanksgiving and Christmas is behind us, how did we spend 2022, how will we spend 2023? Do our plans for 2023 primarily concern putting the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things first? Have we talked to God about this new year? Are we going to do the same things in 2023 we did in 2022 that did not produce fruit? In order for change to occur, a change must be made. Albert Einstein said that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Are we willing to change or perhaps you say “I don’t know what to change”. We must study carefully, listen carefully, find the error in thought, word, and deed, discard the lie and renew our minds to the Word of God and do it. Today I am continuing to teaching about our God given but absolute authority in the earth and the Power available to the Spirit filled believer. Before moving forward please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible expanding the reach of this Ministry beyond its current bounds. Now, don’t forget to be reading out loud. I will now continue taking us through the Scriptures to illuminate our ministry, the Ministry of the Believer. I will once again start with the following Scripture.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus is talking and He is talking to all that believe on Him. Do I, do you, believe on Him? If so, He is talking to us. Can we review in our minds the works that are recorded for us which He did or were done through Him? Doing the works Jesus did in His earthly Ministry is a command from the Head of the Church. Would Jesus tell us to do this if we, those who believe on Him, did not have the authority and the Power backing that authority? I hope you know the answer is a resounding NO! So, what’s the problem? Why are we not seeing the works of Jesus and the greater works (transforming and occupying enemy territory) on every side and in our own lives? Much of the answer lies in believing (having faith in) in the wrong thing, the lie, and not believing the right thing, the Truth. As you will recall in prior weeks, I have been recounting the last Words of Jesus on the Mount of Olives before He ascended to the Right Hand of the Father. By the way we are seated there as well in Him (Ephesians 2:6) meaning we operate in all of His authority. Wow!
For just a moment I will regress and talk about ORIGINAL INTENT. Some of you hear me use that term often. What was Gods’ original intent concerning this or that. Also, one of the things we need to be mindful of is to ask ourselves where is the Bible Model for this or that. Since the Cross we have come full circle in the will of God but not the practice of the body of Christ. In the beginning all were made in the image and likeness of God meaning that all were to look like and act like God (Genesis 1:26-28). After all, in the earth men/women are the ones with full authority and the Power to back up the authority. Although God is sovereign which means He has the highest level of authority, He makes NO ONE do anything. God created us with a freewill. He makes His will known and we decide. You know this from examining your own life, perhaps even today, and looking at your children. Although you were sovereign in the household, did they, the children, always follow your instructions, your will?
As one examines the Old Testament Scriptures, we see that God would find someone who would reverence and worship Him giving Him entrance into the earth and the affairs of those who would serve Him. Even with sin man had primary authority in the earth. If that man yielded to the deceptions of the devils, then stealing, killing, and destroying predominated their lives. On the other hand, if they yielded to Jehovah, He had entrance to bring the Blessing with abundance in every area. As we examine the Old Testament, we see the same structure in the New Testament Church since the Cross. By that I am talking about one prominent leader, superstar, with many sheep. In the Old Covenant that leader was the one Anointed, what about now? Who has more authority and Power than any Spirit baptized believer? Was the Old Testament structure the intent of God or has the Cross restored the original intent of God?
