FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK ELEVEN
POSITION IN HIM

Greetings dear saints of God, brethren in Christ Jesus and welcome back to the Prophets Chamber. If you are not a Christian, not saved, read on anyway, it won’t hurt and may save you from eternity in Hell (an all too real of a place). Please take a moment and share this Word as widely as possible. God is so good and most including many in the Church do not understand just how good. People as perishing, lost, on their way and going to Hell daily and it is not the will of God that any perish (go to Hell). I will be speaking to this to a greater extent in the very near future.
As I write this Donna and I are near the end (Wednesday 14th) of a three week stay in Texas. As you read this on the 17th we will have returned to the State of Maine. We came here primarily for me to have a left total hip replacement. This was very successfully done on the 1st and my recovery is progressing very well, to God, to our Lord Jesus, goes all the glory and thanksgiving. As funny or strange as it might seem, we have had an absolutely wonderful trip. Time with our family, Church family, and friends has been over the top. All we can say is that our God is so very good.
Recently after the Wednesday Night Bible Study on Zoom we were having delightful fellowship with two wonderful friends and the conversation started to center around knowing who we are as Christians, and what is our position in Christ Jesus. That we (Christians) are “in Him” is talked about much in Christian circles, in the Church, in Bible teachings, and in Sunday sermons. Do we have a full understanding of what that means? Are we walking in the reality of being “in Him”, “in Christ” or just talking about it and skirting the edges? Have you wondered why we are not witnessing the events of the written Bible, especially the gospels and the Book of Acts, as common place among believers? Let’s review some Words from the Master, our Lord.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
So, believers, not just certain rare persons every few decades are to do what Jesus did but we all are to do what He did and even greater works.
John 15:5 (KJV)
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Here Jesus is telling us that without Him we will be without fruit, with Him we will have much fruit. Let’s examine ourselves. Again, notice this little but pivotal phrase “He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit”. Notice the “in me” notation. Do you yearn to bring forth “much fruit” for the Kingdom of God? I know you do, just as we do. So, what’s the problem? We are not fully immersed, committed to the Kingdom of God. We are partaking of the first sin; we are partaking the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. One foot in the world and one in the Kingdom.
John 17:21 (KJV)
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
The will of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is that we as a body be one and we be one with them. If we do not walk in agreement with the Lord, we are not one with Him. If we are not one with Him our lives will fall far short of what Jesus died for and the Father has provided in that sacrifice. How will the world believe that Jesus is come into the world? That we be one with Him in His image and likeness, being as He was, doing as He did. In the preceding verse, Jesus makes it clear that the world is going to see something that clearly identifies us with Him when we are fully in Him. When we are fully “in Him” we move as one not like a willful child in a grocery store.
Amos 3:3 (KJV)
3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Are we in agreement with our Lord or has the devil just convinced us by his many wiles, devices, that we are in agreement with the Lord? Much can be said here however I will make two final points before ending this Word of the Lord. First, we are Ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor 5:20). The Bible numerology here is fascinating but not enough time today. An Ambassador is the highest-ranking official of the government from which it is sent in the foreign country. Our sending government is the Kingdom of God (Heaven) and we are Ambassadors to the kingdoms of this world. As Ambassadors of Christ in this world our words in line with the leadership of the Holy Spirit set the angels and the Holy Spirit in motion and the demonic powers fleeing.
One final thought the Lord gave me and I think will be meaningful for all but more so for those who have served in the military or have been closely associated with military people. Once a person joins the military is there ever a time when he or she is not in the military? Does their posture, their speech, their conduct always betray them as a member of the military? What about you and me?
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
