FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK NINETY-NINE
BELIEVERS MINISTRY – PART TWO
THE UPSIDE-DOWN CHURCH

Greetings dear and precious saints of God as this year is about to close out. Thanksgiving behind us, and can you believe it, it is now Christmas Eve with the New Year looming just ahead. Tomorrow is Christmas Day not Santa Clause Day. As I have asked many times, did we spend our time well in 2022, what are our plans for improvement in 2023 concerning the Kingdom of God. Are we going to do the same things in 2023 we did in 2022 that did not produce fruit? In order for change to occur, a change must be made. I know it sounds simple but somehow in our thoughts we imagine wrongly that we can keep doing what we are doing and get a different result. When will we study for ourselves, find the blockage, make the needed change, and obtain the desired (Kingdom of God) result? Today I am continuing a teaching about our God given but absolute authority and the Power available to the Spirit filled believer. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible expanding the reach of this Ministry beyond its current bounds. In the course of this teaching, I will be touching upon several issues including the tradition or idea of impartation. If you are pretty well set in the traditions of man, I suggest you stop reading here, perhaps tomorrows teaching will be warmer and fuzzier. I will now take us through several Scriptures that hopefully are very familiar but perhaps this time will illuminate with new light.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus is talking and He is talking to all that believe on Him. Do I, do you believe on Him? If so, He is talking to us. Can we review in our minds the works that are recorded for us which He did or were done through Him? Us doing the works Jesus did in His earthly Ministry is a command from the Head of the Church, from the Father, and also the Holy Spirit who is our Teacher (John 14:21, 26). Would Jesus tell us to do this if we, those who believe on Him, did not have the authority and the Power backing that authority? I hope you know the answer is a resounding NO! So, what’s the problem? Let’s move to another Scripture.
Mark 16:15-20 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Does this look anything like John 14:12, Matthew 28:18-20, and Luke 10:19 to you? Of course, it does! We do see a couple of new things however. Notice verse seventeen and the phrase “And these signs shall follow them that believe”? Do I believe, do you believe? Are these signs following us? If not, why not? The Lord is illuminating that answer little by little as we go but perhaps, we should consider that we do not really believe, and repent. In our text we see that all is done, in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is the key, not our name, not another’s name but the name of Jesus. Let’s learn from the sons of Sceva.
Acts 19:13-16 (KJV)
13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
These boys did not have a relationship with Jesus; thus, we are back to those who believe upon Him, upon His name. Notice once again in our Mark text we are told that nothing can hurt us. So why do things hurt us? Many reasons but among them is a lack of understanding as to who we are in Christ Jesus, our authority (where we are seated), and the Power that backs up our words for the Kingdom of God. We also see in our Mark text about speaking in tongues, apparently integral to our walk with God, and operating in the full authority we have been delegated, and for releasing the Power of God. Walking in this authority and releasing the Power of God for the glory of God should be as natural as getting up in the morning, showering, and dressing. Let’s get about our Kingdom business!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

PRAYERS AND QUESTIONS – please contact us and we will respond. Our goal is to build a solid foundation upon which children of God can become sons of God, stand and do exploits in Jesus’ name.
PARTNERSHIP AND GIVING – Those of you who are not Partners of this Ministry and you find this ministry to be of value to you and perhaps others with whom you share it, we ask you to consider becoming Partners. A Partner is one who prays for the Ministry on a regular basis and contributes to the Ministry on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, annually). Thank you and may the Lord be pleased with your decision.
