RESURRECTION SUNDAY NUMEROLOGY
Greetings dear friends and partners of this Ministry and welcome back to “From the Prophets Chamber”. It is my intention and the instruction of the Lord to bring to you week to week what the Lord considers important for each of us to know and do. None of us, me included should not look at these as the random wanderings of the mind. I trust God that each one has the impact He intended, on me, and on you. Before we proceed, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing, you have a vital role in this Ministry and the expanding of our circle beyond our reach alone.
I am writing this on the 16th of April and tomorrow is Easter, better described as Resurrection Sunday. As I was meditating on what the Lord would have me to write about, I pulled out our checkbook to write our check for sowing (giving) tomorrow at Church. As I wrote the date I was powerfully struck by the numerology (Biblical) of Resurrection Sunday this year. From time to time the Lord draws my attention to the numbers present in a verse or the reference numbers associated with a verse or passage. Many think that looking at the numbers is hocus pookas, I hope that is not you. I am often astonished at the richness which is added by taking the time to explore the numerology. It is even more astonishing when we consider that the Bible was not written in Chapter and Verse, that was added later for our convenience. Is anything impossible for our God?
Resurrection Sunday this year was in the fourth month, on the seventeenth day, and the year 2022. Let’s start with the number four (April the fourth month). Like the number twenty-two, the number four has to do with light. As we look at the fourth day of creation (Genesis 1:14-19) it is all about light.

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
The greater light (Jesus), the lesser light or false light (Satan), and the stars which are the Church (body of Christ). These lights are for the earth, and of course those upon the earth. As you know, I hope, you and I are children of the day, of the light. The world are the children of the night, the darkness, their father is Satan (a false light). Notice the following excerpt from above, referring to you and me dear brother and sister. “he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness”. You and I are to be giving light to those of the day and the night, and to rule (have authority over backed by the Power of God) over those of the day, those of the night, and to make a clear distinction between day and night.
Now, let’s consider the number seventeen which is the number representing victory. Jesus arose on the 17th of Nisan three days after Passover (Crucifixion), which was on the 14th (deliverance/salvation) of Nisan (Hebrew calendar). Jesus’ victory is our victory, His salvation is our salvation! Dear ones, the whole of Scripture is about our redemption, about our unfathomable inheritance (possession) in Christ Jesus as well as our obligations in the Kingdom of God. We have been given the keys of the Kingdom and the whole of the Kingdom.

19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Luke 12:31-32 (KJV)
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
It boggles the mind but it is the Truth. The year 2022 can be divided into 20 and 22. Twenty is the Bible number of Redemption and twenty-two the number of Light. Jesus is our redemption; Jesus is the Anointed Light (Anointed Word) and it was all for us! O church, let us rejoice and be glad.
Lord willing, I will return next Saturday with a fresh and powerful serving of the Word of God. Insights not just for insights sake but for our assumption of greater responsibility and productivity in the Kingdom. After all it is our Kingdom as joint-heirs in Christ Jesus.
