AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK THIRTY-SIX
OH NO, MORE BLAB AND GRAB IT
Did I talk Bible last week or humanistic reasoning and demon assisted deceptions? Before we move forward please share this as widely as possible. The Church is full of lies, wickedness, deceptions of the demons and the traditions of men. You may be thinking, wow, he is kind of rough right out of the gate. Have we seen this before?
Matthew 3:7 (KJV)
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Matthew 12:34 (KJV)
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Both John the Baptist (Matthew 3:7) and Jesus (Matthew 12:34) are talking with the Church leaders of the day, the Five-Fold-Ministers if you like. Their (John and Jesus) greatest expression of love (agape) and mine is to tell you (and me) the unvarnished Truth, period. The Bible is talking to us, all of it! I realize many don’t like this but I don’t work for you, I work for Almighty God and it is to Him and Him alone I answer. That is not to say I don’t receive counsel but it must be right out of the Bible. One Scripture that I pray about daily is this.
2 Corinthians 4:3-5 (KJV)
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (Bold added)
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
Any area of my thinking that the god of this world has successfully blinded I pray the Lord shine in His glorious light that I may repent and free myself from the dungeon of the devil. I pray that for all of us right now, especially concerning the topic of discussion. One might look at verse three above and say; “well Dr. Wood he is talking to the unsaved”. No, he is talking to you and me, the message is for His people.
2 Corinthians 4:3 (YLT)
3 and if also our good news is vailed, in those perishing it is vailed,
Notice the word ‘vailed’. Can any of us grasp how the Fathers’ heart must ache as He sees His children in deception, in wickedness, and suffering. God is in no way at any time the author of suffering, period. The way pew and pulpit speak of “naming and claiming” is scoffing which is a putting down of God and His ways. This process is part of life in the natural but had its start in the spiritual. For example, we might go into a store see what we want. We name it and claim it with full belief we shall have it, and we walk out of the store with it. Last week I mentioned one episode of “name it and claim it” in the Ministry of Jesus, was that a one off?
Luke 13:12 (KJV)
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
Wow, He named it, claimed it, and she (He got what He named and claimed) was loosed. As with all Scripture, we must have more than one witness, we must guard against cherry picking. We must not build a whole theology foundation upon a verse or partial verse. And, we must be diligent to rightly divide the Word looking at all component pieces of any Truth. For example, let’s look at the temptation of Jesus.
Luke 4:9-11 (KJV)
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
This is the devil quoting Scripture to Jesus (the Word) and quoting it correctly. He is quoting Scripture to you and me as well, in and out of Church. Jesus could have said as some of us have in the past, “that’s right”, named and claimed the protection of God, the angels, and cast Himself down. Destruction would have been His fate as it is ours when we do this. Jesus responded with this, as should we.
Luke 4:12 (KJV)
12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Jesus rightly divided the Word. In addition, throwing himself down tempting God was not the will of God nor was it led of God but led of the devil.
All that we do must be with faith in God and His will, in love (agape which is obedient to Scripture, selflessness, Blood Covenant), free of doubt, and led of the Holy Spirit.
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
