GIFTS – PART ELEVEN
Friday – January 3, 2020, Tevet 6, 5780
Greetings precious friends and partners and welcome back to this powerful study of Gifts from God. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment and hit the “love” and “share” buttons to encourage us and expand the reach of this good news.
Well, 2020 is upon us and for each of us in the body of Christ this can be by far the most productive year of our lives so far. If you believe that and implement the Word by faith, in love (agape), led of the Holy Spirit it will happen. We choose life and blessing or death and curse. The Word acted upon in faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit will bring prosperity in every area. The key is to decree the things desired by faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit according to our Covenant. On the other hand, if we are skeptical which is doubt, we will not be bothered with wealth, health, or any other blessings in our life. Let’s each one of us examine our thoughts, the words of mouth, and our actions. Are our words full of faith for wealth and health or doom and gloom? Is love powering our faith? Are we being led of the Spirit of God in every area of our lives? By this I mean, have we asked the Holy Spirit to lead us to specific Scriptures and then are we decreeing them aloud over ourselves or have we just grabbed a prosperity list or a healing list or other list and mindlessly reading them?
Remember that faith comes by hearing the anointed Word of God (Romans 10:17). Also, we must be most diligent to constantly examine our thoughts, words, and actions to be sure they align with the Word of God.

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Yes, you and I will be in a battle, a fight of faith, to increase our finances, to bring health, and so on and that battlefield is in our own minds. We must guard against ignorance and entertaining wrong thoughts from others, ourselves, and the spiritual enemies which are relentless to take our faith. That does not mean one cannot say their flesh or body has certain symptoms or manifestations (facts) but we must confess that we were healed (made whole spirit, soul, and body) by the strips of Jesus. Our healing comes from the spirit man (which is perfect), to the soul man (mind) (which needs to be renewed in faith), and when our faith is sufficient the Holy Spirit will change (heal) our flesh or physical body. It is our faith which will make us whole, faith releases the Holy Spirit to do His work. There is not one instance in the gospels where Jesus said “my faith has made you whole” it was always “your faith has made you whole”. Our faith in what? The Word of God (Jesus).
Now let’s get back to our lesson the main topic of this series which is dealing with the history of how the most essential gift of salvation came to be. That is not to say that the obtaining of wealth and health supernaturally are not also gifts in that we could no earn them but we obtain supernatural access by accepting Jesus as Lord and stepping into the Kingdom of God. When we do the whole of God, the Kingdom of God, of the Covenant lies before us. In the Kingdom of God everything including the first step of salvation by faith (believing the Word), in love (obedience to the Word), as led of the Holy Spirit is ours. As you will recall we are following the Trail of Precious Blood which goes through Abram, later renamed by God, Abraham. Our God does everything legally through Covenant. There was agreement in Heaven long before the sin of man that, if man sinned, the Word would become flesh and be the sacrifice for that sin (all sin). When God made man and placed him in the Garden of Eden all authority (dominion) was given to mankind and so long as they were in righteousness the Power (the Blessing) to enforce the authority flowed on their words. Because all authority rested with mankind and a sinless man had sinned it would take a sinless man to pay the price of sin (a person of like kind). For that man to come (the Word, Christ the Messiah) there had to be permission granted by a man in the earth in Covenant with God. That man turns out to be Abram (Abraham). In addition, the agreement (Covenant) agreed to in Heaven by Jehovah, Word, and Holy Spirit had to be confirmed (sealed) in the earth and we have studied that in Genesis chapter fifteen. Isaac, the son of promise, has been born of Abraham and Sarah and he is the one through whom the Seed (Messiah) will come.
Now we left off last week with this Covenant being tested. If Abraham and Isaac do not falter the Law of Reciprocity will be confirmed and the Father will be obligated to send His Son into the earth as a sacrifice for mankind. The sacrifice of Isaac was to be a sacrifice for God and as you know and we will see Abraham does not have to sacrifice Isaac and Isaac does not have to die. Abraham did not falter but obeyed his Covenant partner (the Father, Jehovah) immediately. He and Isaac went to the alter of sacrifice of their own freewill just as Jesus would go to the Cross willingly some 2000 years later. It is my prayer that this lesson has brought light into each of our lives. Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Friday.
