Greetings dear and wonderful children of God and welcome back to this amazing, empowering, and insightful study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. The Lord is so good. We don’t have to wander around in the dark, He has given us light, the Scripture, and in addition we have the Holy Spirit to teach us. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. If you are reading, studying, or using these teachings as a morning devotional please take the moment needed to share. Please be sure you are reading out loud, you know why.
The often-used featured picture is to remind us to pray for the seven pillars of society established by Heaven. Before we move into Isaiah, does any of the following Psalm seem familiar?
Psalm 2:1-5 (NLT)
1 Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans?
2 The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the LORD and against his anointed one.
3 “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.”
4 But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.
Of course, it is familiar, it is the very loud cry of the heathen today. This has happened to one degree or another down through all of time. When the Church is weak (by choice) the wickedness of the heathen flourishes, when the Church is strong exercising its authority in the earth the wickedness is restrained. Now, let’s read our primary Bible text. Be sure you are reading out loud.
Isaiah 45:17-19 (KJV)
17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
As we move into the nineteenth verse the Lord announces that He does not and has not been speaking in secret nor in a dark place of the earth. So far, we have seen the LORD speak very publicly to His people through the Prophet Isaiah. As we look at Scripture as a whole, God is not at all secretive about who He is and what His will is for each and every one of us. He says to His people then and His people now, I have not spoken and told you to seek me because it would be an empty thing. He in effect says: I speak what is right. The take away message is that if we will do as He speaks, we will not only be right with Him but everything in our lives will be right. Made right by the Word of God spoken in faith, in love, as led of the Holy Spirit. We are told that the Holy Bible is the most sold Book ever. I wonder if it is the most read Book ever. I wonder if it is the most followed or obeyed Book ever. Now, let’s move forward in our text.
Isaiah 45:20-22 (KJV)
20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
