AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

I WILL RESTORE
Greetings to all and welcome back to this informative and empowering Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah. A reflection of our time. As we look into their time, we find lessons that will help us avoid our enemies’ deceptions. The key is always to be focused only on the Word of God and run everything through the filter of the Word of God. Not what someone told us it said but what we saw it said with our own eyes by at least two witnesses. Please take a moment to share these teachings daily as widely as possible to let others in on the very best news they will ever hear. The beautiful picture I have featured today was taken along the coast of Maine. As I was fellowshipping with the Lord this morning, He quickened me to talk about Psalm one as a preface or preamble to our study of Isaiah. I will deal with one verse per day for four days. I dealt briefly with verse one yesterday and today we will deal with the second verse.
Psalm 1:2 (KJV)
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
People who are walking in the blessing do not delight in the counsel of the ungodly, stand or hang out with sinners, or listen to the blasphemy of the scornful. The blessing is upon each and every born-again believer but it is obvious that He (the Blessing) is not at work in every believer’s life. As I pointed out yesterday, obtaining, walking in, the promises of God are always conditional. All is prepared for us for eternity but we obtain it by faith, in love (agape), and as led of the Holy Spirit. It is all God’s way all the time, period. When we chose what seems right to us or what comes from the devils’ camp we are in for rough seas. Is my delight, is your delight in the Lord and in His Book? Or, are we mixing and matching (mixing good and evil)? How did that work out for Adam and Eve and subsequently all of mankind? Awful in case you are wondering! I don’t know that anyone purposefully mixes good and evil. It is likely for many a matter of ignorance, traditions of men, or doctrines of devils they are following. Eliminating ignorance day by day, examining all that we are doing and why, and proving every doctrine by two or more witnesses (Bible witnesses not our Pastor or grandma) is our responsibility individually (not the Pastors to do for us). Is Scripture on our mind and in our mouth many times throughout our waking hours? What is? Let’s look at this in the Amplified version.
Psalm 1:2 (AMP)
2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.
Join with me and choose to delight in the Lord, in His Word. Now, let’s continue reading aloud moving into the Isaiah text.
Isaiah 1:25-28 (KJV)
25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
Look at the wonderful promise of verse twenty-six! With darkness comes injustice. Do we see this at work in America today? Just as God was restoring justice for His people in that day so will He restore justice for us today. He just does not do this automatically but it floods in with our eager desire to be obedient to the Lord. America dear ones is coming down on the firm foundation of righteousness, the Word of God. We will once again be known as a Christian nation, a faithful nation. A wave of repentance is coming to America followed by a billowing glory. This repentance will not be by the “Church” at large, but millions of heathens will be swept into the Kingdom. As I end for today please carefully examine the qualifications God desires concerning those who rule, who judge the people.
Ezra 7:25-26 (KJV)
25 And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.
26 And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
