AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

I WILL SPELL IT OUT AGAIN
Greetings precious friends and partners, children of the only Living God, and welcome back to this Bible Study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. As we move forward, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means possible to you. Thank you so much for sharing. Those who share play a very important role in bringing this good news to a much larger audience. The purpose of the Word of God is to transform our thinking to be like our Heavenly Father and thus we become increasingly like Jesus bringing every promise of God into our lives. As we look at the Garden of Eden, we clearly see that Gods’ original intent, which has not changed, was for over-the-top extravagance just like Heaven. It is our obligation to bring Heaven into the earth, do the works Jesus did, and to do the greater works. Though the people of the world (heathens) are destined to curse filled lives we are not, period. When I speak of an obligation to bring Heaven into the earth, a better word would be to say we are commanded. Do you need some Scripture?
Deuteronomy 11:20-22 (KJV)
20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;
Even under the Old Covenant they could have days of Heaven upon the earth if they cleaved to the Word of God. Do you think that might work for us today? Listen to the Words of Jesus.
Matthew 6:9-10 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Jesus commanded us to pray that the will of God as it is in Heaven be upon the earth. So, it is possible that the will of God as it is in Heaven is possible upon the earth (our part of the Kingdom) right now, not just in the millennium or the new earth to come. It would be unjust and cruel for Jesus to give us this hope, this command, but it is not achievable. So, what’s the holdup? Unbelief! Flee from the poverty teachings and all aspects of the curse are our cross to bear so we will appreciate Heaven. I do not recall who provided the beautiful picture featured today but whoever you are, thank you. I believe it was also Pastor Randy Lindsey in Idaho. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 28:12-15 (TLB)
12 They could have rest in their own land if they would obey him, if they were kind and good. He told them that, but they wouldn’t listen to him.
13 So the Lord will spell it out for them again, repeating it over and over in simple words whenever he can; yet over this simple, straightforward message they will stumble and fall and be broken, trapped and captured.
14 Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scoffing rulers in Jerusalem:
15 You have struck a bargain with Death, you say, and sold yourselves to the devil in exchange for his protection against the Assyrians. “They can never touch us,” you say, “for we are under the care of one who will deceive and fool them.”
My preamble and our text they and we hear that we can have rest in the land, that right here and now. The key, the only key, is that we obey Him, the Lord, His Words. For the most part the Church is not walking in the Promised Land, the promises of God (dependent upon obedience) due to turning aside to other words like Adam and Eve and therefore other gods. Why did they, why do we turn aside to other words and other gods. It is our flesh nature that constantly wars against the spirit, the Word of God. The unrenewed portion of our mind. We may know some things but if we are not doing them, if the Word of God has not displaced the ways of the world, we are not walking in a renewed mind in that area. The Lord in His love, mercy, and patience will spell it out to us as to them in that time.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
